Sarah, Angelica, Amanda, Kay and Mr. Nedel did a great job. I think it is important that readers understand the way that insurance works, before you call, to prepare yourself. I think a lot of people have unreasonable expectations on what kind of settlement they will receive, if someone underinsured hits them. Kellum law firm does not make the law, so they can't help you beyond it. Please remember that you can only get the settlement you are insured for. In NC, the minimum insurance if 30k. So, if you get a limb ripped off during a car accident, and the person at fault only has 30k , it won't matter that you had 500k in hospital debt.. unless you have 500k in underinsurance. If you have 50k in underinsurance, your insurance will only pay the overage...so if person at fault has 30k and you have 50k in underinsurance, you still only get 50k. If you have health insurance, your in better shape. If you don't, the hospital gets 1/3. Kellum gets one third. So, be prepared to get around 16k. However, if you don't get a lawyer, your check will be sent straight to the hospital and you will get what's left after they get paid. I just want the next person to go in this with open eyes and understanding what they will get. If you are underinsured in underinsurance, you are ,unfortunately, going to have to pay that price and there is nothing that kellum law firm is going to be able to do about that. Unfortunately, we just have to accept that we were underinsured and make moves in the future to not be so irresponsible when it comes to our insurance. Blaming Kellum would be pointless because they, obviously, want to get you the biggest settlement that they can, because they get paid on a percentage. Also, because they are pretty stand-up people. I would go back to Kellum ,if there is ever, a next time...only with a lot more underinsurance!

Loved this place. First time every having to use a lawyer for vehicle accident and these people were amazing. They made my husband and I feel very comfortable and provided us with everything we needed. They walked us through the whole process and even provided information that didn't pertain to the case such as making improvements to our Auto Insurance policy. They went above an beyond to make sure we were kept in the loop about everything going on and they also checked in weekly to see how my husband was doing with his injuries. Allison was a blessing to us and I would highly recommend them for anything you have going on.
