Buyers of a listing where I represented the sellers chose Maitin Law Firm for their closing. Mr. Maitin seems good at what he does and his prices for real estate closing is quite reasonable. His assistant, Bill is very nice and very knowledgeable and helpful.

As a small business owner, you have to be careful both when using hard earned money to pay for a service, but also when giving a referral to someone who trusts you. If that person has a good experience, all is well. If that person doesn't, then it calls your judgement into question. I've only heard good feedback about Larry, so I have no trouble referring trusted clients and friends to Larry Maitin. He is great at explaining the law in easy to understand terms, but also in getting the task at hand done in an efficient and timely manner, with a smile.

Unlike Fred below, I have been doing real estate closings with the Maitin Law Firm since 2000. Not that every closing was 100% to the eyes of my clients, many if not all the issues were caused by the lender not Larry and Bill the paralegal. Just yesterday - being the last day of the month our clients closing package came in 15 minutes after appointment time, instead of rescheduling the closing he made arrangements to still yesterday so my client could move in. See if other attorneys will do that last day of the month??

If there was a lower rating than one star--like negative 5 star that is the rating I would use for this attorney. Having completed somewhere around 15-20 closings with Larry since 2008 I am now finding the chickens have come home to roost on sloppy real estate closings. The financial damage has been significant. Beware.
