Couldn't get past secretary, very cranky too

I don"t understand why this law firm would charge a person about
$47000.00 and two weeks later send you a bill for paper and pen for the the amount of $275.00. Greed

Of I could put a negative 5 stars I would. Absolutley the worst attorney and staff. His paralegal (MS) continously lied to us regarding our case. This law office endorsed a check made out to my husband and then lied and stated they never received it. We received proof that they did in fact receive it and cash the check and have refused to give it back. We demanded they return the money immediately. We have filed a case with the state bar of NC and will proceed to go after the money that is due to us they illegally kept and lied about.

I was quite disappointed in my visit to Mr. Welborn's office. I was welcomed by a barefoot, barely dressed individual who appeared happy-go-lucky until she encountered someone who did not "speak our language" on the phone. She was clearly distraught that the interpreter was at lunch. I then observed a frail, disabled individual, who came to check on what was needed for her court date. I then had to bear witness to 3 employees make disparaging remarks about her race and intellect, with her barely out the front door. Although Mr. Welborn seemed borderline arrogant, he does seem genuine and caring and is very experienced. It is too bad his office mates do not share the sentiment. I will not return nor recommend him to anyone.

This is the most honest attorney I've ever talked to if he feels you can handle the situation without him taking any of your money he will be there for you to talk to if needed and gives you his most honest opinion I recommend him wholeheartedly

Mr. Welborns help is very incompetent she does not return calls, turn in travel time on time or to right people. She doesn't send in check stubs on time. The voice mail was full when i called her, she has told me that she doesn't check it very much. I've sent her emails and still had to call her. I had to call drs office because they billed my insurance and then billed me when she was supposed to take care of it. I called and straightened it out. Just a few of the many problems going on
I am very dissatisfied and at this point would not recommend this office.
