Seems to be a pretty good lawyer will see after court

Wade Carpenter gave me some of the poorest advice as a father . He convinced me to settle for the child custody I was offered and told me we would fight for custody later. He however never informed me that it would be and act of congress to get custody after I agreed.
As well for months I wanted to be on the offensive to get this divorce over with. He made this case last for over a 1 and half and the when time for equitable distribution mediation , he said we don't need a mediator and again tried to get me to settle . The mediation failed and after I was hit for another 2500 in lawyers fee . He quit the case because he didn't want to go to court and fight Mcelveen Law firm . It also appears that he and Mcelveen had communicated via text and agreed that Carpenter would get me to settle on ED. Now I know why we had a mediator for child custody but not for ED.
I would Never recommend this firm for family law . the cost is more than just financials

Wade Carpenter is not one to be reckoned with! He knows his business and knows how to get the job done! Not only very professional, but carrying and understanding as if you were a member of his family that he was taking care of! Hopefully we'll never need his services again (no one ever wants to need an attorney), but if we do without a doubt Wade is most definitely the only one we would trust and torn to!

That receptionist hmmm

This was a horrible experience for me. I don’t even know where to start. I caught a traffic citation July 2018 and hired Wade a few days later. I signed a waiver saying That wade would appear in court and represent me and my absence. Only to find out 10 months later (by calling) that the matter was unresolved and that I actually did have to appear in court! In addition to that... my next court date was 3 months away which was today July 15th 2019!!!!!! A whole year later... not to mention my license had got suspended in October due to this matter being unresolved.... so the judge gave me a 300$ fine and as I’m leaving Wade walks up to me and tells me also that my license is suspended for one year (he tried to insult my intelligence by telling me that my license is only suspended in the state of North Carolina smh if they are suspended in one state then they are suspended in every state) !!! I’m highly disappointed I could’ve represented myself for all this trash and money wasted.

I was really expecting to walk Mr. Carpenters office today and see staff members who dont like there jobs .... Lucky for me the receptionist had a great big smile and a respectful tone. When he arrived he was friendly and straight to the point. Thank you for you time and services!
