Pour excuse for a lawyer stay away

This man was a wonderful lawyer. He represented me a couple years ago I came to this site wishing to hire him again

Terrible attny does nothing on his cases and won't do anything to help you..

This man caused the judge to issue a warrant for my son's arrest because he did not notify him of his court date. He did not provide my son with his discovery. He never met with us to discuss the case. The only time we heard from this man was when he wanted a payment. He took payments from me after he withdrew frommy son case. I had continued to pay this man because I didnt know he withdrew from his case. I had to contact the Bar Association to report him and to get my money back. The judge dropped my sons warrant because I was able to prove that he was not notified. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN FOR ANYTHING THATS DEALING WITH SERIOUS CHARGES. HE IS A REAL HEARTLESS MONEY HUNGRY PERSON. ALL HE CARE ABOUT IS MONEY. GOOGLE HIM BEFORE YOU HIRE HIM.

Colin is the most unprofessional human being I have EVER met in my ENTIRE life. Not only did he cause my family a lot of heartache and money on top of what he had already charged. We are now having to seek a REAL lawyer. I HAVE REPORTED HIM TO BBB AND THE NC BAR. THIS MAN DOES NOT NEED TO "ATTEMPT" TO REPRESENT ANY CITIZEN OF NORTH CAROLINA. IF IT WERE UP TO ME HE SHOULD BE STRIPPED OF HIS LICENSE AND BANNED FROM THE BAR. HE HAS ALREADY BEEN TURNED IN ONCE IF THAT TELLS YOU ANYTHING.

This man caused my daughter's license to be revoked by not showing up in court. He was very hard to get on touch with. VERY HARD.. We ended up having hire another lawyer...He caused my daughter alot of stress. I would not EVER recommend this lawyer!! He is very unprofessional!!!

Collin handled a divorce for me great guy knows his stuff.

Colin McWhirter took our money for my Son's case and never did the work for him. Caused him to miss court twice and get a Felony Failure to Appear. His charge was $4500 and hasn't offered to pay us back.

Mr. Mcwhriter cares about his clients. Each and every one individually. I’m proud to have him representing me. Also, each time we have been to court, at least 3 people drop their attorney to have him. Amazing and Grateful!

This attorney knows his stuff. You do your part and he will do his part. Mr. Mc Whirter handled a very difficult divorce for me arguing against 3 attorneys my wife had hired.. and a VERY BIASED neighboring county's court. He knew more about the law than the judge.
