Cynthia did a great job for me and my family during one of the most difficult times of my life. It was a very fluid suitation, she was available - even during a difficult time for her, and always did what was in my best interest.

Do not hire this attorney for child custody. Please do yourself a favor and save your money. I had custody of my child I hired her she failed to file paperwork she failed to do her job in anyway my ex as of now has my child. She even went to the point to blaming it on the other lawyer and on the judge that I don’t have my son. When it comes down to it it was her and her failure to do her job I am fighting really hard to get Custody and my son.When Dss stated that my child was being abused she didn’t do nothing about it she let it slip. When my ex was breaking the court order by letting her lover live with her she didn’t found the paperwork she let it slip. She’ll promise you the world lie to your face lie to your family and then leave you high and dry.

Doesn't have the time or make the effort to listen to your case. Nor to contact you if she cannot get to court to represent you even after six months of waiting for your court date to get here. Kept laying case over to suit herself not her client's needs.

No communication with her client, tell her what your doing to improve yourself and she never lets the court know the good only lets them believe the bad. Shes a screw over.

She is the most unethical attorney in Hickory. She took my money knowing she could not go to court for at least 6 months. Time was of the essence and she kept having the case continued for a year and half. I tried firing her and she would not drop my case because did not want to give back my money. There were times she did not even show up in court! Because she is a lousy attorney my children get $0 in child support, yes, not 1 red cent because she refused to take it to court in a timely manner. When I went to her office to pick up my documents, she had locks on her doors and staff told me it was because there were quite a few clients mad at her. She has screwed people over so badly that she has to watch her back. You do not want to use her, she has very little experience as an attorney!

Not open - no communication with client and unable to reach her for a week - note on door with the number for appointments - but again no answer.

She is a terrible attorney and honestly you would be better to represent yourself then use this attorney. Also her daughter likes to go into public places and talk trash about peoples cases as well as clients. Do yourself a favor STAY AWAY.

Cynthia and her staff were absolutely amazing. They are VERY professional and everything they said they would do, was met beyond expectations!

Cynthia handled an assault and injury to personal property charge (all charges were an accident), as well as got a no contact order dropped for myself and my boyfriend within 2 months.

When my boyfriend went to pay for the services beforehand, her office assistant took him downstairs to Tasteful Beans and bought him a coffee and chatted for a few. In my opinion, I have had to deal with other lawyers previously for custody, child support and divorce and none of them were even CLOSE to this type of KIND and caring service.

If we ever need any legal advice or services in the future, we will be back to use Cynthia and will definitely be referring everyone we know to use her!

Cynthia and her entire staff are the best . I recommend hiring Cynthia. I will use her services for any future needs. I had 13 felonies and looking at 15 years or more in prison. I walked away with almost all my felonies dismissed and just probation. She also was able to get my property returned to me taken by the police. She fought hard for me . I give her no stars. She "represented" my daughter on what should have been to me a misdemeanor charge. My daughter had one charge in district court and another in superior court. For the district charge,she got dismissed. I thought ok great. But as months {4} went by....nothing was done. My daughter tried unsuccessfully to reach her by mail and phone to no avail. I FINALLY got to speak with...whom I found out to be Cynthia's daughter. She was very helpful, provided me with information on my daughter's case. Told me to be at court on a Monday and to bring a change of clothes because my daughter was coming home....to bad it was all WRONG information. We called the office number, only to be given a spill about the phone lines not working and to call another number that someone would be able to answer. Called the number and it was disconnected. We went by the office but could not enter because it was locked. We went back to the court house and I saw a woman {who I found out to be the D.A.}in the court room and asked information regarding my daughter. She was able to provide me with information and helped get my daughter's case heard the following Wednesday. Now mind you we are traveling from 3 county's away. So we go back to court on that Wednesday and waited and waited. Cynthia FINALLY showed up but it was after the judge was hearing the plea bargains. And it was after 2p. When we finally got to speak with her she told me that she was going to see my daughter {after 4 months of no contact}. I called her and asked if she could at least wait to speak with the judge but she text me with this blah blah BS. We come back on Thursday and was able to see the judge and get my daughter. Now please keep in mind...we were persistent on getting justice for my daughter. Any where we went in the court house or jail and mentioned Cynthia's name..the looks, the laughs and the concerns on their faces or the words they spoke of this woman were enough to terrify anyone. They actually laughed and told us GOOD LUCK!!!

I would not hire her to handle my cat in a catfight charge!!! The only way that she could get clients is to be and remain a court appointed "attorney" and I use that word loosely.

I am so grateful that we hired Cynthia she is a beast. She is on top of her cases and communicates great with her clients!!!! If you want someone who will fight for you SHE IS THE ATTORNEY TO GET!!!

Just go downtown and look at her office barricaded door peephole you gonna answer the phone you can here and there but nobody answer the phone. She took $3,000 for me and didn't do nothing don't use it for child support child custody or divorce or you'll lose I thought I was
paying her for my ex wife. She shouldn't be allowed to even stand in front of the courthouse.
