I called last Tuesday, and spoke with Beverly, and made an appointment for Wednesday January 15th at 4:30 for a consultation. I called this afternoon to confirm my consultation appointment and was told by the other secretary's, "because Beverly was at lunch' and was told that I wasn't on the schedule. Finally Beverly returned from lunch and she got on the phone with me and said she was confused, and started looking through her notes. She found where she took my info and seen that I called and made the appointment. But she said she must have forgotten to put my name and appointment on the calendar! She proceeded to look at the calendar to see when the next appointment would be available! At that point, I kindly thanked her, and am currently seeking other council. I can clearly see why they have a 3 star rating!

What I witnessed in the courtroom was a enormous effort to defend a client with an indefensible case. Clay Pendleton and his staff will be on my side, if I ever find myself on the wrong side of the law.

Clay had told us we only had to pay a certain amount and he would take care of everything. He made a court date and then kept canceling and then would charge us for every time he canceled. Then would proceed to charge us for many things that he never even did. He would never keep in contact and wouldn’t do anything like he told us he would. Worst experience

Don Pendleton set up a Ladybird deed at the request of a step sibling. My father had no clue what was going on. Don told my Dad that he could sell, rent, and mortage his house as long as he was alive. He deeded the house to 4 of his step children not knowing the true consequenses of the deed. Sure, he can sell his house but he only owns 1/5 of it and has to get permission from the other 4 siblings to do so. He left the house to them in his will. My Dad was coerced and decieved to sign over his home without knowing all the facts. Don Pendleton purposefully deceived my father. I have absolutely no use for this crook! Don Pendleton took advantage of my elderly father as well as his step children. My dad can't get a home equity loan even though the house is paid off. He can't downsize to a smaller home as he ages. Another attorney told my dad to sue for elder abuse. However, that is not the kind of person he is. Maybe that was why they took advantage of his good nature.

Do not trust this attorney. He is dishonest, unreliable, takes your money and doesn't do his job. We were the sellers of a property for a closing. The buyer's chose this law firm. Slow to respond to emails and confirm information. I gave wiring instructions two days before closing and they called me in the afternoon of closing to confirm it, therefore missing a cut off time to wire funds. Since it's Friday, I'm going to have to pay interest on the money for an extra 3 days. I had called at 2:00 p.m. to confirm the wire was done, and I was told it was. An hour and a half later, I was told they needed to confirm the account number still and another person who had told me the wire was done had 'misspoke' if they want me to remove this review, they need to pay me the interest on the money I'm going to owe over the weekend since I do not have the funds. EDIT The funds did arrived today. I'm still not impressed with this law firm. I did not receive a call back from the office manager about the issues.

Don't hire Clay Pendleton unless you like throwing money down the drain and having him make your case worse than when you started. Absolutely ruined my custody case and put my child in danger. He couldn't even remember simple details and was never prepared for court. The other party was caught lying on the stand about drug use yet Clay still failed to get anything done. Paperwork is always late and you may miss important court dates because he forgot to send the paperwork. He will lie to you about the law he is supposed to know and ignore your calls when you get in legal trouble by following his advice. He also lies about his fees and tacks on random charges he won't explain. A lying cheat who grabs what money he can and runs as soon as he has throughly ruined your case.

One of the best in the business. Very knowledgeable and kind. Any legal issue can cause intense amounts of stress, all the staff was so kind and I really felt like they cared about my situation. 10 out of 10
