My son, a college student received a speeding ticket during his Thanksgiving break. As a resident of South Carolina, it was difficult to respond in person, and to avoid his receiving a major violation.

They did a great job lowering my violation to a much lesser charge with no points on my drivers license. Highly recommend.

Ted and his staff were so helpful and professional in my daughters traffic violation. She is in college 250 miles away and could not attend the court date so Ted handled everything- he got a voluntary dismissal with no points, no court costs, fees, etc. I could not be more pleased. I must say I had an overall great experience with Ted's team. His legal assistant Sherri was phenomenal. I was so nervous based on the things I read around the internet for my charges. I didn't know what to do, not to mention, I didn't live in NC. So when I reached out to Ted, among other firms, he was the only one to return my email (Sherri did). She explained the costs and what Ted's strategy would be. I couldn't be more appreciative of the work they did on my behalf. The only thing I wasn't too pleased with was that, when my case was postponed, no one contacted me to tell me. I was worried and had to reach out to them. Yet Sherri responded quickly, as she normally does, and put my nervousness to rest. I would absolutely recommend using this team. Ted is the worst lawyer I have ever encountered...If you want to go to prison he is your guy...He just simply don't care ... during my experience with him he used the term "It didn't Matter" the whole time we used him... He lied...He never took us serious but he took our 5,000 tho... To make a long story short my son ended up with 15 years and a attorney who last words was...It didn't matter it was Mantory anyways ... Warning Do Not use Ted Besen unless you have Time to do Time!!!!!!

I was impressed at first because Carole was always available to talk. However, my faith faded when besen was too busy with other cases to handle my license permits (DUI). I ended up going in front of the judge alone after begging the assistant DA to hear my request for driving permits.
Each time beson couldnt be in court and got a continuance, he "was unable" to get me excused from appearing.
During my final plea, i had to speak up for myself to the judge about 24 hr incarceration instead of comm serv (beson and i discussed).VERY DISAPPOINTED. Need fewer clients....be honest

EP. Ted Bensen is a super lawyer and has been great handling 2 legal cases for me. Both times
I was amazed and more than pleased how simply and fairly everything was handled. The last
being a speeding ticket going 31 mph over. I was very nervous thinking about facing the
judge alone not knowing what to do. Ted represented me in court and got the citation
handled with a result better than expected. I don’t know how he does it but he’s able to get things
done as successfully as he promised. I feel Ted cares for his client and goes the extra mile.

Ted is an "ambulance chaser". Just ask week I had a traffic incident (my first in over 45 years), and a few days later received an advertisement from the firm. This went into the wrong mailbox, and as a result my neighbor is aware of the situation. I have no doubt that this will spread, and affect my career in the most dire way, as I drive for a living.

Ted represented my son when he was charged with several traffic offenses including DUI. His case continued for 14 months and Ted made every appearance. During the trial Ted made all the appropriate motions and exposed all the inconsistencies in the charging officer’s testimony. Because of Ted’s professional cross examination of the officer my son was found not guilty of the most severe charges including the DUI. Ted is a straight forward attorney and will not sugar coat your situation but he will fight for you to the end.
