Used Sam Hyde for a legal land dispute with some neighbors. While he seemed confident and knowledgeable, he ended up dropping my case right before litigation due to a "lack of time." He did manage to use up the rest of my deposit that he said he'd refund what was left. I would never hire this lawyer again.

I would never hire Samuel Hyde for another case ever again. My husband and I paid him a deposit this summer to help us mediate a land dispute between us and our neighbors who were trying to use adverse possession to take our property. Mr. Hyde assured us all through the mediation that if it should go to court, he was confident that he would be able to win our case for us, his opinion being that since our neighbors had already moved their property out of the area they were trying to adversely claim that would reset the 20 year time requirement for adverse possession. ***After the mediation fell through, he told us he would not have time to litigate our case and ABANDONED US WITH NO ATTORNEY RIGHT AS OUR CASE WAS ABOUT TO GO TO COURT!!*** At our last meeting, he told us we had money left in our deposit and he would refund us the leftover, but of course he managed to nickle and dime his way into spending all that was left. When we hired a new lawyer, we found out that Mr. Hyde's opinion of our neighbors' moved property reseting the 20 year timeline for adverse possession would not hold up in court. Finally, and Mr, Hyde claimed this was a joke, but during one of our meetings at his office the power went out and he told us they "must've forgotten to pay the power bill!" I didn't find this joke very funny when I had to spend my time and pay him money to meet him at his office, only for him to not be able to conduct the business we needed of him while we were there.

I am exceedingly pleased with David Brown's professionalism and hard work. He was certainly knowledgeable in the legal proceedings and was able to get this matter resolved in my favor. They were trustworthy and kind and I'd recommend them to all my family and friends in the future.
