Shawn Fry's secretary lied to a man who hired Shawn, about his bond conditions NOT being altered when in fact they were. She was "misinformed." This caused the man to believe he did not have legal contact with the victim, and was advised by Shawn not to speak to the victim of such a minor case. The man who hired Shawn, was going through a miscarriage AND pregnancy with his girlfriend at the time. Twins. One had miscarried and one had not. This is why the bond conditions got altered in the first place, yet Shawn advised him not to speak with her, and the man had no way of knowing if his second child was alive or not. The point is, Shawn doesn't care for PEOPLE. When calling and speaking to the secretary, I explained some financial concerns for the perpetrator, and she made a laughing remark stating "Shawn already has the money."

I am not a party in this case, I don't win or lose anything from this, I am just considered a witness to the state of a complete misunderstanding of a case. This isn't the first time someone I know spoke ill of Shawn Fry or regretted hiring him, so I am not surprised. Just so you're all aware of the kind of man you're hiring.

I would suggest Seth Crabtree instead. He cares for people, he is honest and spends time talking with you even if he isn't getting paid. When I spoke with him he said, "I could tell you yeah, write me a check, but this is why I believe you wouldn't gain much from it, and this is what would be in your best interest..." So I am thankful for attorneys who actually care for their clients (people) instead of JUST their cases and paychecks.
