Mrs. Rogers and her team are absolutely amazing. They exceeded my expectations and protected my children and me. Her wise counsel guided me through a nightmare, also known as divorce. Helen Rogers showed great concern for my family throughout our lengthy custody battle but most importantly for the welfare of my son who was caught in the middle. Divorce is an ugly, ugly thing. I came to Ms Rogers after my previous attorney had become ill and needed to withdraw from my case. Ms Rogers and Stella Kamm got my case moving quickly in an organized, competent manner. Gene Guerre is still representing me in a post divorce lawsuit with my ex and I'm confident in his professional capabilities. I can unquestionably recommend Rogers, Kamm & Shea.

Well I just called. I asked to discuss my case I was told NO. I had to discuss the fees first. Sounds like it's all about the money. How can you charge me anything when you don't know what the case is about first?

Rogers, Kamm and Shea is a TERRIBLE law firm who should not be allowed to practice. I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on them over the course of a year and a half only to have them leave me high and dry TWO MONTHS before my divorce trial. I almost lost my daughter because of them.
George Spanos, whom I believe is Helen Rogers’ son-in-law, was a complete pushover and constantly seemed to be on the defense with no strategy. After six months, I was losing faith and asked for a meeting with Helen Rogers to review their strategy. She had no strategy and tried to make something up on the spot. When I brought my concerns to her attention, she became upset and rudely got up to walk out of the office. She has a lot of nerve for a short, fat lady who was taking so much of my money.
Rogers, Kamm and Shea were careless and sent me other clients’ court documents on one occasion, asked me to meet at the office and charged me $35 for an assistant to needlessly drive me a few blocks across town on another occasion, then Trudy, their imbecilic accountant, lost the record of one of my payments which led them to send me a letter threating to withdraw from my case for lack of payment. When I stated my concerns, they filed a motion to withdraw from my case, without even telling me. They said it was because we had differences of opinion on how the case should go forward. Funny how they didn’t tell me that before racking up such a large bill.
At a time when I was at my most vulnerable, they took advantage of me. Luckily, I found a wonderful lawyer who finished up my case for me. The difference was night and day. Because of the work done by the new attorney, I have joint custody of my daughter. I urge you to choose different representation if you are looking for a divorce attorney. Rogers, Kam and Shea is rude, untrustworthy and incompetent. They are just out to steal money from people in their time of need.

I hired Mr. Spanos to represent me in the midst of a highly contentious post-divorce custody matter. I came to him a few months into the lawsuit because the initial attorney I hired was doing a very poor job of representing me. I was desperate and had little faith left that things would go in my favor. Mr. Spanos walked by my side during my 20 month long court battle and was always kind and compassionate. He fought against a very vicious legal attack on me, by understanding the law and applying it to facts. After a 5 day trial, we had a victory. Words can not express how thankful I am for Mr. Spanos and his team. I would recommend him to anyone in need of representation for any type of family law matter. There are very few good lawyers out there in my opinion, but Mr. Spanos and RKS have proven themselves to be at the top of their league.

The best decision I made during my divorce was hiring Helen Rogers as my attorney. From the time you walk into her office and throughout your stay, you know you are in good hands. Ms. Rogers and her staff always made me feel that my case was important to them. I never felt like I was just another client. Her breadth of knowledge and 35 years of experience were invaluable. She understood my case and fought on my behalf. She always listened to what I had to say and answered all my questions. Ms. Rogers negotiated a much better settlement agreement in mediation for me than I would have ever received in court. I will forever be grateful for her kindness and support during my divorce. If you are going through a divorce, the best possible decision you can make is to hire Ms.Rogers.

I hired Ms. Shea to represent me in my divorce and she did not prep me, she did not tell me what to expect and she did not defend me. I almost lost custody of my children but thankfully found decent representation elsewhere before the final hearing. This woman then had the audacity to appear before the judge and ask for more money from me. All I can say is that this woman is the WORST attorney and not at all knowledgeable about family law. Warning!!!

Very good at acting like they are experienced and aggressive attorneys, however I witnessed them get completely handled by a judge, 1st year attorney and mediator... time after time.
Extremely passive.
