I realize that preparing closings documents can be complex, but that is the title company's job. And unfortunately Bell made several errors on my closing. Prior to closing I received a document that over stated my closing costs by $2,000, so I wire transferred the wrong amount of money. They eventually caught their mistake, but I wasn't informed until the actual closing. This resulted in the transfer not going thru. Also, they never told me that they hadn't received the funds. In fact, at the closing they assumed that they had the money. After the closing I sent them the correct amount. After this experience I asked for another copy of the closing document. I then noticed that they had not given me credit for my earnest money. So this was another error on the closing document. I pointed this out to them and they immediately mailed me a refund check. I can only wonder what other errors they may have made.

Worst experience ever - they do not care.

The Bell Settlement Services registered my property tile and tax to a wrong address. Talked with them. The lawyer Bell said that it does not matter at all. How could it do not matter? Of course, it does not matter at all for him.

After negotiation, he told me that he would update it. After that, unable to contact him anymore. Called him several times and left several voicemails. No responses at all. It's been 3 weeks. ....

I think that you never want a lawyer who cannot do his job right and also does not care.

WORST ATTORNEY EVER!!!!! Wasn’t responsive. TERRIBLE customer service. He had to put together 2 simple documents which took weeks to get in and once we got them they were wrong and we had to correct them ourselves. When we went to settlement he told us the party we were buying the business from didn’t need to be there. How could they not be there if they needed to sign documents to complete the transfer. He left midway through the transaction to go to a dentist appointment without so much as a thank you or informing us that he would be stepping out. His secretary was EXTREMELY condescending and rude to us and the seller, acting as if we were a nuisance and below her. We took the time to write Bell an email conveying our frustrations and asking to make it right and his response was “I’m confused”. If you’re looking for a legitimate attorney stay FAR AWAY from Bell.
