I wish I would have read this review before I hired her. She was totally unprofessional and procrastinated in even looking at my case. SHE TOOK A SIDE B4 WE EVER SPOKE She had it for 3 month before I was due back in court and after many calls to her office over this period of time, she NEVER CALLED BACK , SHE WAS LATE TO ALL BUT 1 COURT DATE. I CALLED her several times and she never returned my call. I see her in court and she wo.t even speak to me.... , I spoke to her assistant and still never got a call back. DO NOT USE HER, she will take your money and not help you

Lazy.....she should have her license removed. She has so much power as a GAL but no repercussions of a normal attorney. She had her mind made up from the beginning. Never visited my house. But yet feels qualified to choose custody of my kids. She asked for 5 references i gave her 30. She didnt call a one. Never even came to my home. She is a joke and should be barred. But GAL's are immune to malpracrice otherwise pretty sure she'd be working at walmart. Plus she sends me a bill and sends me to collections even though i have the reciept for a $0 balance with her. She is not worth the air she breaths. Absolute waste of space.

She had it for a month before I was due back in court and after many calls to her office over this period of time, she called me back once, 4 days before my court date. I returned her call and she never returned my call. I called her office on a daily basis until the last working day before my court hearing, I spoke to her assistant Jessica. She said they were emailing me paperwork. It was the same paperwork I presented to them when I hired her. At 5:00pm that same day, she informed me she wouldn't be able to help me. I ended up having to represent myself in court the next day. DO NOT USE HER, she will take your money and not help you.

I HIGHLY recommend to never hire Miranda Long as a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) or as an attorney! She doesn't follow through with judge's court orders, she doesn't investigate cases at all! She was friends with my ex's attorney and was completely unprofessional in the way that she conducted herself with my ex and his attorney. She fraudulently billed me for things that never happened just to cover her own butt. She met with me ONE time and never came to my home, never interviewed my references, kids' teachers or counselors or pastors. She just did a really crappy job all together! She also lied to my 11 year old daughter and promised that she would get her into a volleyball camp and never followed through. Miranda Long is absolutely unprofessional and doesn't look at the best interest of the children, but instead, her own social life. NEVER hire this terrible attorney!
