As other reviewers have said he's good until you pay him. Didn't even appear at first court hearing. I feel I could have represented my husband better than Joerger ever tried.

Front office staff is unprofessional and rude.

Worst lawyer ever encountered . He and his secretary were very nice until they received payment in full , that is when all the drama started . He has insulted us in his office , humiliated us in front of other patrons , has sided with the opposition and even sits with them in court . He has robbed us of our money and dropped our case leaving us to stand al9ne in front of the Judge. We have spoken to many other people in Pahrump who he has done the same thing to , he gets away with it and keeps doing it to new people that come along and desperate for help . He charges almost 500 bucks and hour and other attorneys have scoffed at that , the going rate they say is 250. An hour . This guy and his secretary should be avoided at all cost
You will be better off representing yourself ! A true thief !

I just called this guy to get a consultation which says free on his website. I called three times before I got an answer. Once he answered the call he was nice enough at the beginning. I brought up the length of the contract I was wanting a consultation on and everything went downhill from there. He had an almost immediate change of temperament and began saying this is going to cost you 8 hours of my fees to review. He wouldn't even let me ask the question I called about in the first place. The conversation kept spiraling downward and he was noticeably agitated saying "it isn't his job to make me feel better." Personally, I would have to disagree with that statement and many other statements he said. He is very unprofessional and doesn't listen. The culmination of the phone call was him saying to "stay in Alabama and live in my trailer" finished by him hanging up the phone on me. I neither live in Alabama or a trailer which made it blatantly obvious to me he has no listening or communication skills. I would stay away from this guy.

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT go to this place for help. He started out as my public defender for my first charge ever. He didn't try to fight for my case at all. The prosecutor was actually more helpful than he was. I ended up getting 5 yrs probation for possession of a controlled substance. 2 hydrocodones...REALLY!!!

Every PO that I talked to laughed and said they've seen worse charges for way less time. After I completed probation and everything else that was asked of me to do I tried to have Carl Joerger to help me with lowering the charge to a misdemeanor or drop it altogether but every single time I've called his office they gave me the run around everytime. Finally I got an appointment set up and mind you I live in Vegas so I drove to pahrump for my appointment and he apparently forgot that we had an appointment so that was a waste of time. I've called dozens of times and have never been helped once.

It's just really fusterating! I have nothing good to say about this place and I'm not a negative person by all means. I made that one mistake in my life, everyone does and it's affecting the rest of my life. Can't get certain jobs. Can't have my name on leases of apartments or houses. Can't do this, can't do that because I'm labeled as a felon and just want it to be fixed. Vegas attorneys don't deal with pahrump cases either.

Esquire Joerger was competent, efficient, detailed oriented, professional, honest, diligent, and handled my case with the utmost qualified abilities with a very successful outcome that has benefited me in all areas of my life. I strongly suggest others to utilize his services...especially, if you have received a traffic violation. :)
