Very bad experience with this attorney. We should have listened to the other bad reviews and avoided this firm at all costs. We were looking for someone to handle our real estate case. It was on the unusual side which we knew but it is an aspect taught in law school and it was one of the practice areas specifically listed on his website. The first problem was when we arrived for our scheduled appointment a few minutes early. We were made to wait for several hours past our appointment time while the attorney was researching our case. We had already given all of information over the phone days prior so this wasn't a surprise asked should have been better prepared for. Finally Mr. Perlman showed up. He was completely unhelpful. He didn't have a grasp of the law in our case, he gave us completely wrong legal information and basically charged us $300 to say that we didn't have a case. He then ended the brief meeting by inquiring about our marriage then telling us of his own marital woes (totally irrelevant and unprofessional). We luckily found another local attorney who is well versed in this particular law and basically told us the exact opposite of everything Mr. Perlman stated and was able to back it all up with professional experience and case law. We are successfully proceeding with our case and are thrilled that we looked for a second opinion.
