Kara is patient and extremely knowledgeable. She met with us numerous times and made sure all of our questions were answered. We feel confident in our decisions and are positive we made the right choice in having Kara help us through this process.

My experience with this firm specifically Kara and Laurie was 5 out of 5 stars. They did provide excellent service and I enjoyed working with them. Both are so friendly and very efficient and I felt very comfortable during the whole process. I was very pleased to walk out of the office with a nice binder containing all my essential papers. Thank you so much. I feel very confident my estate plan was well prepared.

I have worked with Kara Gansmann and Andy Olsen through NAELA and the NC Bar Association for years. Both are excellent attorneys who work hard to stay up-to-date with the latest changes in the elder law field to the benefit of their clients. This type of proactive engagement with the field is essential to providing accurate and quality representation for clients.

We were very pleased by the professionalism, knowledge and pleasant interactions with everyone in the CSH office. Kara Gansmann and Laurie Ferriera, especially, were always very professional and pleasing to work with.

I recently had been diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. Prior to surgery, I thought it best to have my 'affairs' put in order. I went to Cranfill, Sumner and Hartzog and am very happy with all the work that they have done. I was able to have a Health Proxy completed, as well as creating a will, appointing Powers of Attorney, and developing a trust. The hard work of all the staff, particularly Laurie Ferriere, Andrew Olsen, and Ellen Grasso is very appreciated. I feel that this was a 'task' that I always knew I should do, but kept dreading. They made this easy for me with their comprehensive attention to detail. Thank you for your high quality of work. I definitely recommend CSH if anyone needs a legal firm.

First contacted the attorney in 2006, and was recommended by the NC bar. All was well until recently. Went in for an appointment, they promised me some simple documentation, gave me the run around, and never delivered. Stay away. I brought forth a complaint with the NC Bar Association. These people stick together, so I won't hold my breath. I'm sure their are better lawyers who specialize in elder care. He left me and my 89 year old mother out to dry. Nice, huh?
