Referred to Sussman by Charlotte Lawyer Referral Service in my search for a litigation attorney. Spent 5 min on the phone prior to my consultation wherein I explained that my business partner was the party against whom I was seeking litigation.

Spent my 30 minute consultation with Mr. Hefferon, at the end of which time he stated his firm does not handle business litigation cases, and thus was unable to help.

I called Charlotte LRS back to explain my experience, and they advised that Sussman was listed in their directory as handling business litigation cases.

Either Mr. Hefferon is incompetent or corrupt. In either case I recommend against soliciting Sussman for legal service.
