Basic real estate closing (conventional loan) took over 1.5 hours, attorney kept leaving room unannounced with no explanation, eventually attorney explained it was a clerical error on their part. This error could/should have been addressed prior to us arriving, as they had simply entered wrong amount for property taxes. Closing attorney kept referencing a “huge commercial deal that might fall through” and kept making it abundantly clear we were nowhere near his top priority as we twiddled our thumbs in the conference room waiting for him to return. Would never recommend them to anyone. Poor client service, poor attention to deal, sloppy execution.

Warning don't uses John Clements an attorney with Mcnaught and Clements. We 're new to the area and in process of buying a home. our realtor choose to work with this attorney and it's been one problem after another. Our closing date has been changed twice and now they can't get a hold of the attorney to even finish the paper work. It's been a nightmare and we have no idea when we'll get to close and move into our new home. All because his incompetence, extremely poor through an total lack of concern for his clients. If we experienced these kinds of problems I feel sorry for his other clients.

Attorney did not respond back to us in a timely manner; poor communication. We had to drive out to the office just to get someone to talk to us! Clearly from the other reviews on here, our experience was no different from others.

DO NOT USE!!

I did not choose this firm for my clients, the buyers agent did. Closing was pushed 3 months due to the attorneys side, we get to closing to have to make multiple changes to closing disclosure. I take the closing disclosure to my office to review and the address is wrong!! I have tried calling Darlene for a week now to fix it and she still has not done it. Needless to say I will never recommend this company and will turn all agents away from this company!

This team has handled over 25 of my closings without 1 issue thus far (1/2015 - 7/2017. I consider them able to act quickly. They deal with some of my closings from high demand investors wanting to close in 7 days or less to complicated loans, VA deals of mine and more. If you simply give them the information they need on the front end, they will get you to close without delay. Thanks

These Guys are Incompetent. They failed to provide me with copies of my closing documents, never sent the title insurance and missed deed restrictions on my property, which we are still sorting out. Real estate closings are not rocket science, but these guys are a new low. Use anybody else.

Please be careful using this firm - probably only an issue if you are the seller like we were but they have been really unfair on everything that has happened with selling our home. We were asked to come in one day early to sign and they were unable to give us signed copies since the buyers had not signed yet - 2 weeks later we don't have a signed copy and the unsigned copy we received that day shows an amount to be paid to us $1100 more than the check mailed - that is another story. We worked with someone that morning that told us the paperwork and check would be mailed, didn't happen and when we checked on it this was our fault for some reason. They had made a mistake on the paperwork and need us to sign again which we took care of the next day. We told them we were dealing with losing a family member and they gave a 3 hour window vs just selecting a time like we had to do the day before for them and then when we asked about the check a week later we were told we could have picked it up - no one asked why our check was just lying around. Then they told us it was mailed Monday and we didn't get it for 3 days and it was postmarked Tuesday - still no paperwork and they or the person we had to deal with seems very unkind and not concerned about the sellers at all. They also know our dad did die that week - this is the 4th house we have sold in this area and never have we had such a bad experience.
