They improperly worded legal paperwork that ended up costing us in the end an additional $5000.00 because it was used as a way to renegotiate the offer on a home. Then 4 weeks after the closing they hadn't sent the insurance premium to the proper place so we had to pay out of pocket money that was already included in our closing. When you employ an attorney to cover all the legal aspects of a real estate offer you expect them to know what they are doing.

I would not recommend a law firm that can barely do the basics. After repeated calls, voicemails and 'hand written' messages for over a week, I have yet to receive a call back. You would think that they would like to receive over a $2k payment. A woman who refuses to leave her name, (working on Monday July 3rd at 2:30pm) hung up on me and my 75 year old Uncle multiple times. Her telephone etiquette was horrendous. She refused to let me speak, didn't hear my message or take my number. What a great impression of your 'professional' establishment. It's a shame, everyone else I have spoken to were professionals. Perhaps she is cost effective so the disrespect is tolerable. That or they have trained her to be that way so they can continue with their land grabbing & profiteering.

Next call is the George State Bar Association and Congressman Collins' offices. Perhaps to let them know of the fraudulent activity going on at Akins & Davenport, PC.

Honestly, the review today won't matter to them. They will continue poor practices. They won't hold employees accountable if they aren't accountable themselves. It's for you, the consumer. Sure, it's a small town - but go to the next town and give them your money.

tried to get info and the person who answered was rude and uninformative. I was explaining my case and asking if she could convey that to the attorneys and she cut me off and basically said all they care about is money and i could find a different attorney.

Excellent attorney practice with personalized service. They handled the closing on our purchase of a new house in Blairsville, and the closing took 20 minutes!
