Nice staff, nice attorney.

BANKRUPTCY IS HARD!

Filed chapter 13 a year ago to stop collection on a judgment. I had been sued more than once from mistakes made in a previous relationship and felt like I was drowning! With the help of Larsen Law I converted my case to a chapter 7 in November 2018. While waiting on my discharge I’ve been able to buy a BRAND NEW car, was approved for an UNSECURED credit card to help rebuild my credit and my credit score is already up and in the high 600s! Bankruptcy is not for everybody and is by no means.. easy, but Larsen Law made this experience well worth it! Bankruptcy has a bad reputation, I use to think it was rock bottom and struggled for years trying to stay afloat. Because of Lori and John, I got a fresh start and finally have peace of mind. I’m well on the road to financial security and stability!

Mr. Larsen and his staff are all amazing. It's so sad that people who won't take responsibility for THEIR situation that THEY got themselves in are trying to ruin this business. Every time I call the staff is very knowledgeable and always answers my questions thoroughly. Of course I don't DEMAND to speak to the attorney, I understand that the case workers can answer my questions when he is in court and if they can't they will ask him and someone will call me back. I think it's amazing that ALL of the staff is in school and working full time (you would know this if you have friendly conversation with them which I always do), that takes a lot of effort and people trying to shame them is disgusting. Keep your head up staff, you are amazing and I will keep sending people your way!!

Ok I guess so far so good. Currently not everyone is on the same page and it allows for misinformation and confusion about case info.

Rude people and they are crooks. The lady Lori was so rude and hateful and I don't recommend them to anyone. Run as fast as you can don't use them.

Mr. Larsen is amazing. Hes right on it, breaks everything down where you can understand the entire process. I would recommend him to everyone and anyone needing an amazing Lawyer.

If I could click TEN stars I would! John is very kind, professional and helpful to my needs. He helped me get through a bankruptcy and was a lifesaver! I truly appreciate his help and understanding- especially through a hard time.
I recommend going to him and not being a victim to the larger companies.

I was in a bad situation, but so far so good. Have not had a single problem with the office staff and they have been professional and helpful. I'm not one to share personal business info, but I will simply say if they can successfully help me, they can help anyone. I'm talking a serious amount of "debt"

I wish there was a lower rating that I could give. He is the sorriest excuse for an attorney ever. He was paid twice to file screwed it up times both times. Then had the audacity to have his office say that he didn't handle this type of case. The office staff is rude and incompetent. John C. Larsen should NOT be allowed to practice law !!!!

Liah's attitude is disgusting. Rude and out right disrespectful is not the attitude you need when handling customer issues or concerns. Mr. Larsen, you were nice to me but the team you have representing you definitely won't get you recommended. Even though my case has been paid for and discharged, it is still your job as my attorney and those who help at his office, to not only hear my concerns but to actually care and want to make sure certain things do not happen again. When I sat down with Mr. Larsen I was told that as soon as the paperwork is filed that no one is allowed to contact me. That it is violating the automatic stay and the discharge injunction, both of which prohibit them from calling. So when I call you repeatedly after continued harassment from a creditor, the last thing I want to hear you say is "It's not my job or any of my concern".

Worst experience ever.

Absolute worse service! Treat you like you owe them something. Paid these people’s over 3k+ for awful services. John himself is not a bad guy. If you can ever get ahold of him he is very attentive... doubtful though- since you have to go through his rude, obnoxious, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde acting woman that answer the phone. Overall I would NOT recommend you spend your money here.

Mr. Larsen has always been wonderful. While I am not at all impressed with the front office staff...Mr. Larsen truly cares about his clients.

Horrible. I would not recommend these people to anyone! Biggest mistake I have ever made. I was not given an option to file 13 or a 7. I did not know I even had that option until I began researching for myself. He does not explain anything to you when you try to ask questions he avoid the questions by continuing to talk about his family and God
I thought I was going in for a consultation but they had me to believe I had to move forward with a CH 13 because they had already filed it. My story goes on. I wish I would have read the reviews and research more about this law firm before I went there. Please be aware! They try to threaten you by saying your car maybe repoed but thank God I was not far behind on my payments. I tried telling them I didn't have enough debt to file a 13 but no one listened. They do not have your best interest at all. Now I am trying to get out of this mess.

Mr. Larsen seems to be very knowledgeable and down to earth. Says it like it is. He attended the greatest university in the world and is an avid outdoorsman just like myself.

Horrible. I wish I would have saw these reviews before I wasted my time and money with these people. We went for advice everything that come out of that man's mouth was a lie. We are now in worst shape now than we was before. Every time I had a question he would never call back never!! I told his little office girl if he didn't call back I would just come up there and wait 20 min later he called only to tell me more lies. Because he would never answer our questions we went to another lawyer to only find out that everything he told us was false not one time did this man really listen to me and my husband when we was in his office. And to this day he has yet to apply the 709.00 I paid in cash to the attorney fee. I had to go to the bankruptcy administrator in decatur and tell them they told him to fix this he never has so EVERYONE READING THIS CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK IF YOU PAID ANYTHING UP FRONT IT SHOULD BE APPLIED TO THE LAWYER FEE IF NOT CONTACT BANKRUPTCY ADMINISTRATOR MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR RECEIPT!!! The day we went up there and trusted him and we thought he had our best interest in heart we filled out our paperwork took it back in two weeks after that point I never saw nothing never knew what all was in the paperwork. I had to ask at court to see it. Then after court he told me and my husband if you have any question call my cell phone and gave us the number only to find out that the number is a non working number. This man and his whole office is a joke. Please don't waste your time on this man. You could find better infomation online. If anyone else has had problems with this man please write your review on here and I ask that you file a claim with the better business bureau!!

Mr Larsen was very nice up front and then his office staff were very rude almost to the point of threatening me with my car. I have tried four times to talk to Mr Larsen and each time they have said he will call me back and has not. They have lied to the IRS about my income and thus causing me to get a letter stating I lied on my tax return. I was already having a break down with everything I had been having to deal with and now I am having the same problems. I have an appointment with Mr Larsen onThursday and I bet when I get there they will say that he had an emergency. So I will be firing them and that is something I can do especially if your lawyer does not return your calls and is giving misleading information.

Have been trying to resolve an issue with our case for almost 2 years. Also have been hung up on, yelled at and talked poorly about while on the phone. I have done everything short of begging them to have Mr Larsen call me. I have been told for months that my issue would be taken care of. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! For anything...Ever! I will be contacting BBB.

When I origianlly dealt with this firm in 2011 - they were very helpful. I now have a need to communicate with them regarding the same case and thus far I have been hung up on, yelled at, ignored, talked poorly about (while on the line listening) by the rudest, snottiest girls that work in the front. I am out of state now and the only way to communicate is via telephone so this has been the most degrading month of attempting to contact John or a case worker. I 100% DO NOT recommend this firm simply becasue of the horrendously rude staff at the front. One of them also totally lied to me regarding a change that needed to happen stating it cannot be done when in fact it turns out that its acutually a fairly simple fix. I will most likly contact the BBB because of the way I cannot receive ANY service in getting my issue fixed. I have been going in circles for over a month when this could been solved - now it's costing me money all becasue these completly ruse and useless "gatekeepers" cannot preform their duties and be even somewhat civil humans. Mr Larson should HIGHLY consider restructuring his front end staff.

Mr. Larson is a joy to have as an attorney however his office staff is rude and unable or unwilling to answer phone calls. When calling and asking to speak with a specific case Manger the client is sent to a voicemail service. It's very disappointing to be a paid customer having to be treated in such poor fashion.
