Reports fraudulent information

Sent me 2 bills for Laurel Eye Clinic both $120 and $185 for my brother and I in which we have not been to them in over 3 years because we moved to California. Everything was also payed in full and in cash or I would never have received my prescription or glasses. Also my last pair is 2 years old and I bought them from JINS eyewear. Ridiculous.

Debt collection agency that when you try to pay a debt wont answer the phone or wont return a phone call and is rude to you when they DO talk to you. Yeah, great business practices. And yes, I also record ALL my phone calls too so I have my own "proof".

The collection they sent me is behalf of atnt when i did not even agree any service with them. They cannot even verify me through last 4 social, because its not even MINE. They keep sending me collection notice, because it has my name and address only...what about rest of the info? and what about my credit does not even have this as collection..why? because its not even my account....duh

This company is filled with liars, cheaters and scammers such as Amber Dunaway, a Franklin Collections manager who conspire with the likes of Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama in order to keep consumers from being able to purchase homes. Their deceit is the main reason why many hard-working people are unable to purchase homes.

Disrespectful people but that’s OK. My Lawyer loves dealing with these type of People. They will lose more money and a huge ding on their business.

Say you owe money for a service you never had, and when you try to reason with them and offer the proof, they tell you to calm down and place you on hold.

I'll have this debt disputed and taken off my credit report and then I plan to have them sued for fraudulent activity and identity theft.

The rudest people I have ever talk to. I was trying to figure out why my husband had two collections bill all the women could say was how are you paying this bill. She kept talking over me when I was trying to figure out what was going on and she wouldn’t tell me anymore. Just how are you paying credit card or check.

Even if you are collecting a debt don't call past 8 at night would think that would be basic.

Some of the rudest people that I have ever had to deal with. I cannot even give them a star but seeing how I have to... Not only was the representative rude, the MANAGER that I spoke with was as all.

They are saying my daughter owes then money never heard of them and we don't owe anything.

Called my house phone to collect on a debt supposedly owed by my mother. I let them read their greeting and I asked to speak to the manager who had her own greeting so I patiently waited for that as well then I told her that I had my mother's permission to speak with them on this debt. I let her know that I would not be paying them anything on it tonight because my mother would want to confirm that she had actually owed the doctors office any money and the manager calls me ignorant. Well whatever because after I checked it turned out my mother didn't actually owe the doctor as I suspected. Maybe the ignorant managers of this place should be a little more humble about people not immediately wanting to pay the money because they're obviously prone to make mistakes.

Have a collections account open in my name to a clinic I've never been too in Mississippi, customer service attempted to tell me that I had in fact been to this clinic and called me stupid when I denied it because I have never been to Mississippi.

This collection is horrible!!!!!! They do not try to help you at all! I just got a letter from them saying I owe $1140 from a medical center I’ve never been to!! They also said they couldn’t dispute it because its been passed a year!!

Collections companies have a bad reputation all-around - I would know, I worked in collections for several years. A lot of times, people are just angry because they owe money, and want to blame anyone but themselves. In other cases, yes, there are the true bad apples who should never work in collections, and give the entire industry a bad name. I can't say for sure whether Franklin overall is good or bad, but my experience with them was actually *not bad*.

Sure, there were some areas that could use some work, such as communication. At the end of the day, though, we were able to work directly with a decision-maker and handle our matter in a mutually beneficial fashion. Given that my husband and I weren't even aware of the account they had up until about a month ago, it turned out to be a legitimate debt, and they heard us out and worked with us.

Simply put, if you legitimately feel as though you don't owe a debt, or are being harassed or lied to in any way, educate yourself on your rights under the FDCPA and take action! Otherwise, own up to what you owe, and work with the people trying to help you resolve it.

How my name is in collection for AT&T with they refused to provide me service because my area can’t have internet?

I just paid off a collection account with this company. The gentleman that I conversed with made the transaction fast and was very friendly . He gave me a confirmation number and told me " the collection account will be removed from your credit report within 30 business days." I cannot complain about anything.

It was easy for me to get the information I needed.

The people working at their call center, they are so rude..Tonya and Roz Washington. Tonya sound like she does not have any customer service
skills at all. At the beginning of the call. I told her my name and started telling her the problem, them Tonya starts over talking me and then she
sounded so very grouchy, saying 1st of all, I don't know your name. I had already given her my name. She is very rude, her voice sounds horrible from the beginning and then she tried to get and attitude. and it really sounded scratchy, Whomever hired her needs some customer service skills. And I called back to get the address, So I can start a dispute again.

Easy way to pay bill... Just doesn't give u a confirmation number after transaction is complete.

Problem with collection agencies is they will always have a bad rap due to the nature of the business, but the employees they choose to hire and keep is what this is based on. I called them to resolve a debt that I found on my credit report, I simply asked for a new letter to be mailed and advised them for some reason they are coming through as SPAM on my phone and was greeted with nothing but hostility and rudeness. I see on their FB page and other reviews that many others have complained specifically about this person and yet they are still there hating their life and pushing it into their work and unto customers. I paid the debt and she did state it was going to be removed off of my credit but after reading all these reviews I am starting to question that. I called back and spoke with some else who although was just as defensive but she at least agreed to send me a new debt statement letter but told me to contact Verizon about the spam, like I am supposed to tell Verizon to unmark all the different numbers you guys use as spam....come on....how about we use actual numbers assigned to a business and not try to hide who we are. Minus the absolute disregard in manners and politeness, I guess everything was handled in a way were we were all "happy".

I just received a letter from this company stating I owed AT&T $441.00. Whaaat. I called AT&T and I have a zero balance and they are not showing I have been sent to collections. Beware. This company is a big scam. Do your research.

EDITED TO ADD: The ONLY positive review on this page is from an ACTUAL employee of FCS. Not hard to find that information on facebook with a little research. Claire Woolridge only has a community college education, so let that sink in.

DO NOT PAY YOUR DEBTS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Most all credit collection agencies will remove your defaulted accounts completely from your credit report. This company will not!!! They will report as "paid in full" but will still show up as a derogatory remark on your credit. Additionally, they will TELL you it will be completely removed, but will change their tune when you ask for a deletion letter. Complete waste of money, and better to dispute it with the credit bureaus or let it fall off after 7 years. DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME!!

Please do yourself a favor - CALL THEM, LOOK FOR THEM!! They could be your worst nightmare: they filed a suit against me for a debt collection I never got, I changed my address and last name due to a complicated divorced and still, they made me paid the attorney and court fees (+ my medical bill). They are the rudest people I have ever talk to!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE - NONE HUMAN SENSIBILITY!!

Has anyone been able to get a hold of them? I tried calling but no success. It seems to be a fax machine number listed for their phone number.

I found they had an account on my credit report, but I cant get a hold of anyone. The number they list is to a fax machine... reading the reviews, what a horrid business place.

They’re reporting an issue as new that is 7+ years old that I have disputed and proven isn’t mine or valid but they refuse to take action. I understand they need to be somewhat persistent/aggressive to collect debts but reporting something as “new” that is clearly many years old is deceptive.

Oh yeah these people lol rude as hell didn’t believe it at first I just wanted to pay my bill got it done but you can obviously tell the lady hates her job and takes it out on you killing your day

I was sent a collection notice from them on an account with a 00.00 balance and the Two people that I talked to were not interested in calling AT+T to verify that my account balance is 00.00. They are rip off artist + I reported them to the Mississippi BBB. Call the company they say they are collecting for and make sure you owe before you pay them. Robert Boswell. I never owed in fact I got a 33.33 refund from AT+T.
