Shady place going around trying to intimidate senior citizens into paying credit card debt left by deceased spouses. Would not do business with this "law firm"

Very rude people was paying on a debt for months and Didn’t even seem to be lowing my balance! They are rude and hope somebody can do somebody about the rudeness these folks have!! It’s a way u talk to people and if u hate your job so much don’t blame us just quit!

I had a miss call from this number so I decided to call back and a nasty smart mouth lil boy (cause a man wouldn’t act in such manner) asked for the last 4 of my social I gave it to him. Then he asked for my address and I said I’m not giving out anymore information because I don’t know who they are! He then says well you dialed the number so you know who you called! I said I dialed the number because y’all called me first!! I never heard of a Jacob law firm and I don’t even be in oxford! He said well u live in holly springs and that’s not far from oxford and I said again I don’t be in oxford and why are you calling me! He said and again you don’t live far from oxford and I felt my temper rising so I told him you have a nice day and as he started to say you too I hung up in his face! I don’t have time for unprofessionalism!!! And they are going on the block list!!! I don’t owe any debt to anyone so they can kick rocks and delete my number!!! Better yet I will block him!

If I could give no stars, I would. Woman who helped my husband and me was rude and JUDGEMENTAL. Employees need sensitivity training on how to deal with client sympathetically regardless of the situation or personal opinions. I am surprised this firm is still in business with the low ratings they continue to acquire.

I’m on a monthly payment plan with them. The lady I spoke with today was Brittany, and she was EXTREMELY rude. I usually get a young man and he is so nice and very patient. But this lady was beyond disrespectful! I asked her what my settlement was and she said “You called last month about the settlement and you didn’t pay it. I don’t understand why you call every month if you’re not going to pay it”. How dare she, like excuse me? So instead of acting outside my character, I politely asked her again what my settlement was and she proceeded to tell me.

The gag is, I was actually about to pay it in full but nope, not now. They will continue to receive $50 every month until it’s paid off. Customer Service is key with running ANY business and she definitely doesn’t need to be answering phones and helping clients with that attitude.

I received a call from this company asking for a man that I dated over 30 years ago. I was thinking what the heck? I have been married and have grown kids now and live in a different state for 27 years than when we dated so long ago. We also have an unlisted phone number, and we do not put our phone numbers on any social media sites, etc. I did some research and found out how they could have gotten my name bc it's linked to my (many years ago, ex bf) just from having the same address at one time. But how they got my present phone number is a big mystery. Bizarre.

My mother stated that someone called them from this number stating that I owe money. I decided to call them back and a rude women answered the phone. She asked for the last four digits of my social security number. She then told me that they had the wrong person for the cell number provided. How would they even get my mother's cell number. She had never stepped foot in Oxford. Why would they call my mother looking for me? I have no debt at all ! They are rude IDIOTS!!!!!

The superviser was extremely rude and the staff wont work with you when you call to explain a situation and try to fix it.

This company calls me looking to collect debt from someone in my extended family whom i don't even know. I asked how they got my phone number and the rep first said they got it from their client who listed me as a contact. I live in NY and have no contact with her. When i wantesd further info as to how they got my name and number they said they wont release info. I explained to them I'm trying to find out if they are looking up ramdom people's numbers and harassing them to collect debt or if their client actually somehow gave my info to hide from their debt. And ic she dis then I would look into that further on my end. The rep said "im sorry i dont understand the value of this conversation." I asked for a supervisor and she refused and hung up on me. I called back and got another rep who did thr same thing. You can not call people who have no connection to someone else's debt that they don't even know. Call me again and i will file a formal complaint. The worst people I have ever spoken to.

This is the worst law office ever! The women there are so unprofessional and rude. They talk to you as if you’re uneducated and dumb when a person if only trying to get a better understanding of the situation.

They have been paid through a bankruptcy and continue to hang up on me and tell me I have an attitude problem when I give them my lawyers number. If your using this company to collect money your throwing it away. The only thing they are collecting is negative reviews. Also their supervisor sounds intoxicated.

This one lady (Angela), when I called was very rude, telling me what I could and could not pay and that they would garnish my wages! I understand that they are trying to collect a debt, BUT RUDENESS is not the way to go. I hope that one day someone treats her the way she treated me, with no EMPATHY OR COMPASSION!!!!! Can't wait to be done with them FOR GOOD!!!! 2 more payments and BYE BYE FOOLS!!!!! If I could give no stars, I would. One star is too many!!!!! I hope this law firm is shut down immediately!!!!! And, they all end up with dead end jobs!!!!!

Rude and nasty I had two surgeries and was out of work.they called me about a bill from 2014,went to court and sued me I was out of work four months and agreed to pay $25 a month.I was supposed to have made a third payment on sept.30 and called the week ahead and left a message letting them know I would pay sept.and Oct. On the 2nd I called to confirm and the guy was nasty and said that I needed to make $275 payment since I didn't call and speak to them but left a message on the weekend I told him I can only pay what I can since started back and threatened to garnish my wages.what pissed me off is that they don't even try to work with you then he goes to tell me this morning that I'm making excuses for making payments.needless to say,they are rude and unprofessional some places will work with you and they don't.

I had a missed called from this company's phone number and I decided to call back not knowing it was a debt collection company. A rude and nasty woman by the name of Angela Gaston answered the phone, I informed her I had a missed called from this number and I would like to know who's calling me. She stated we're a collection company and what's the last four digits of your social security number. Immediately I told her I don't owe anyone and I was not providing her with my information. At this point this rude, non educated, disrespectful woman started to yell at me because I wouldn't provide her with my social security number. Just beware of this company, they are calling random people and they don't leave messages and lastly if anyone owes this collection company please try and contact the original creditor because you wouldn't want to deal with these nuts. How could the state of Mississippi allow a company like this operate. Angela Gaston need more customer service training and her boss should review her phone calls on a regular basis.

Absolutely horrible customer service and a total ripoff... They made an attempt to double my amount owed on a debt and charge extra fees.. Only after I contacted the original debtor did I get a correct amount and was able to begin paying off my debt...

Actually not even a law firm. It's a guy practicing outside of his house. I've filed charges against them

I am in disbelief that a law firm would hire such RUDE people to work for them! I have never experienced such sarcasm and down right disrespect. Brittany must be fresh out of school and forgot to take a class on customer service. She was the most unprofessional person I have ever spoken with and honestly is doing this business a serious injustice. You get a lot more with sugar than you do with salt! I called back after having to hang up with her and spoke with Krystal that was just as RUDE. Funny how Brittany was able to discuss an issue with me but not Krystal!!! I guess they choose the rules as they please. Don't waste your time with this law firm,

Oh my God...I just got off the phone with one of there representatives (cannot be called "Customer service") She was so rude that she did not want to tell me where she was calling from. I asked several times and all she would say is that "for security purposes" I needed to verify my birthdate and last 4. Well, for security purposes, I do not give that stuff over the phone (she called me) I told her that and she just said that she would call back when I was more cooperative and that the phone calls would keep coming until I gave them my info. I did not know who they were until I called the number back. Flies and honey people.. when I called back and explained what happened the lady explained to me that they cannot give out information until I verify mine. and that she was sure that she did not mean it the way I was saying...yes...she did.

The rep that called me Brittany Thomas have the be the rudest rep I've ever spoken with told me I opened my own business so I should be able to pay them( which is very untrue). She pissed me off so bad I had to hang up on her.

On the phone, I was told I could commit suicide by their staff.

The staff was rude and unhelpful. I had questions and I quote "we do not bend over backwards to help you in anyway". I realize they are attempting to collect money, however, I had an unusual case and they offered no assistance or even a recommendation of who to call to work it out.
