I would highly recommend Brad for DUI/DWAI cases. I switched to Brad on a co-worker’s suggestion and am very thankful for it. Brad has an impressive knowledge of DUI/DWAI laws and tests. His attention to the details is great and use of video evidence created many strong arguments in my favor. Brad knows the legal system very well – how DA’s office works, knows Judges and his approach to jury selection led to a client friendly or impartial jury. He has awesome credibility for being very fair and balanced during the actual trial; which makes Prosecution look very biased against Citizens. Brad is also very personable, perceptive and professional – he always explained the strategy and approach he was taking. We made decisions together but I trusted his instincts and thought process very much. Brad is an excellent, excellent lawyer – I appreciated his help very much and thanks to him got “Not Guilty” verdict in a DWAI trial.

I want to thank you so much for going that extra mile for (my sister). I don’t want to be overly dramatic and say that you saved her life, but you certainly helped her recovery from the cancer. If she had had to do jail time, her recovery would have been seriously retarded and it probably would have taken her years to get back to normal. As it is, she has a chance to heal this summer and begin life again on a more positive note. You made that possible and you have my, and that of many others, gratitude.

So often the only time in our busy lives we take a moment to share our experiences are when we are dissatisfied or feel we did not get the respect due us.

My observations is that this attorney is way too close with Larimer County DAs to be a decent counselor without prejudice.

As an example, during a sentencing I observed, a Larimer County Assis. DA offered facts not in evidence to support her recommendation and Allin didn't even offer an objection. I doubt he knew the facts of the case well enough to catch it, it was an obvious overstep that a paralegal could easily have caught.

Later, outside the courtroom he mentioned of this prosecutor that, "Oh she's a great lady", as if that's even a relevant comment between a defendant and his attorney. It felt to me like his comment was an attempt to disarm me before sending me into the lions den.

I'd have fired him on the spot during my court appearance as that's when I finally realized what poor representation I was receiving, but it just wasn't worth the hassle to fight the (minor) charge over again from the very beginning (not to mention he had already cashed a significant check from me). Total waste of money and time, in my opinion.

Additionally, Allin expressed to me specifically that he works on the side as a contractor who gives seminars to local Northern Colorado Law Enforcement agencies during which he reveals some of how he defends his clients. He of course spun this to me by saying that they bring him in to consult because he is so good at beating up on law enforcement in court. I had to do some research in order to finally understand just how unethical this type of arrangement is, legal or not.

These are just my opinions based on my interactions with this attorney, feel free to try him out and make up your own mind.

I got my 2nd dui (I know) needed help. Brad Allin got me through my case with the best results, even saved my drivers license which was really important for me. You don't have to worry about Mr Allin looking up a statutes as applied to duis he knows them. I highly recommend the law office of Brad Allin and his staff.

I'd like to take the time out of my day to simply say Brad Allin is the best. After my free consultation I had a good feeling I was in good hands. He was knowledgeable and straight forward. It was weight lifted off my shoulders hearing didn't have to go to the first court date with him on my side. In only a couple months he was able to get my license back. It would have been easy to take our money and negotiate a plea deal. Brad did not do that. He helped us navigate the challenges of our case and understand all the options.
