A self serving, childish, overpriced and unremarkable divorce attorney. Any response Mr. Gaide post to this review would be the limit of his litigation abilities.

Trustworthy, Reliable and Knowledgeable!

Mr. Gaide was a pleasure to work with through my difficult divorce. He fought for me even when I didn't have the energy to fight for myself. He was insightful on all legal matters and took my safety and future well being very seriously.
He was quick to respond to all questions and concerns and helped me navigate the legal language. I never felt rushed or pushed, just listened to and guided.
I am so thankful to Mr. Gaide for all of his help.
His extensive experience was a huge asset and he was respectful at all times to both me, the court and the opposing counsel.

Paul is an outstanding attorney who truly listens and collaborates in order to focus on what is important to YOU in YOUR case. He has listened, educated, advised, and encouraged me through the most difficult time of my entire life, and I am so thankful that found him. He possesses a vast amount of knowledge and has the experience and foresight to think ahead and consider all areas that could be affected by decisions, making sure that his clients are informed as to all of their options. He holds himself and his clients to a very high standard of ethics and integrity, works tirelessly to come up with creative solutions, and knows his cases and the law backward and forward (which is awesome at trial because he spots lies & misrepresentations immediately and calls them on the spot.) This divorce has been one of the most miserable experiences I've been through, but working with Paul has been one of the best. I wholeheartedly recommend that anyone in need of an attorney (especially if your case involves imbalances of power and resources) meet with him.

I hired Mr. Gaide almost 6 moths ago to help me with my divorce situation. Since the get-go I realized that he was demeaning towards me and women in general. He treated me like I was incompetent and he “knew it all”. I was merely providing details about my case in the best possible way, trying to remember events and anecdotes that had occurred throughout my marriage. Mr. Gaide showed no compassion towards someone, who was not only paying him more than he should have been, but also had the audacity to undermine my individual sense of self-worth. Such approach is not simply unacceptable for a public servant, but it is extremely abusive. His current criticism directed towards me, diminishing my ability to perform simple tasks he had asked me to do, name-calling, etc. were constant throughout the proceedings. My opinion, now that it's been over 8 months since the divorce decree was signed, is that Mr. Gaide should have no business in this profession. Not only I have lost my case because of him, but I have been left with a far greater loss than the estate that was disputed in the divorce. I have to say that I would never recommend this charlatan to another soul or another woman. He simply despises women in general, and I had a chance to get out of it before the end of my proceedings, but he used psychological abuse by causing fear by intimidation and repeated threats. A horrible experience that I do not wish anybody else to experience.

I hired this individual because he came recommended by law firm in Denver, the Van Der Jagt Law Firm, and he is in the Ft. Collins area and I live in Windsor. I needed help with my divorce case, a very simple one. He spent almost an hour and a half describing his "adventures" back east in Connecticut or wherever he spent most of his life. Well, he charged me $586.00 for all that bullcrap!! Why should I pay you all of this money to listen the reason why you got fired by your previous law firm??? He always pictured himself as a seasoned attorney with an "attitude", and a good fighter one. Well, he collected my money and then literally disappeared for months. I might have received a couple of emails from him because I kept calling him on his cell phone. He is literally incompetent and kept telling me to settle when I wanted to fight (and I had the proof). I lost my case because of him, his neglect and his laziness!! He would loose mails and I had to resend everything. He could not remember my case so I had to rehearse everything all over again. Oh, and the best part: HE NEVER FILED A NOTICE OF APPEARANCE!! So when I lost my case and he stated that they were done with the case and withdrew, I found out he was never on my case to begin with!!!
I have no choice but to file a complaint with the BBB and then go to the Bar for a disciplinary review (letter of grievance). That is how bad this individual is. I do not recommend him at all and should have checked Google reviews or Yelp before hiring him!!! People beware!!!
