I had been on workers compensation for an injury for several months, and eventually had to leave my place of employment. I was at my wits end when I finally decided I couldn’t do this alone, and called Lee Christian’s office. Madeline was extremely helpful in explaining to process and setting up the appointment. I have to say, this was the first time I had ever felt like an attorney had my best interest at heart and was going to help me...and I come from a family of lawyers and a judge! Lee is smart, personable, and very helpful. He helped me with 3 cases - 2 unemployment insurance and one workman's compensation. I hired him for the first UI case and when the company withdrew he refunded half the fee. Working with him on the first UI case gave me the confidence to represent myself in the second UI case. He gave me coaching that was helpful. I won that one too. On the WC case he also gave me very helpful coaching. I represented myself and won a settlement. The lawyer for the opposition blew a lot of smoke my way and I may have withdrawn if I did not have the confidence I got from Lee's coaching.

2019 review:
Lee helped me prepare for an unemployment insurance appeal hearing. Based on having him subpoena information my company chose to withdraw from the appeal. He also counseled me on an appeal I had with a second employer. I would likely not have gone through with the appeal but he encouraged me given I had "nothing to loose". I did call in to the hearing and won the decision. Boom! Lee was great to work with.

Lee is an excellent attorney, who backed me through a long and trying employment matter that took seventeen months to conclude. He answered every email and call, kept me encouraged and offered straightforward and honest guidance. I would choose him again.

I used a different attorney prior to Lee. Nothing beneficial was accomplished and, in fact, there were questionable actions on the part of the attorney, which resulted in tremendous hardship and stress. And the process kept being extended more and more. When I switched over to Lee, everything I’d hoped for was accomplished and finished within a week’s time! I consulted with Lee regarding a criminal case.

Lee stood out in a way that most of the other lawyers (10+ ish) I consulted with did not, in that he took time to understand a particular issue regarding the law that is not commonly addressed, whereas most other lawyers simply told me that I was wrong (I wasn't) without actually understanding (or comprehending) the problem. This is a critical quality in a lawyer that, unfortunately, isn't exhibited by many in the legal community in Colorado.
