I’m not sure how to begin, inform, end this artifact of my professional experience & regard for Counselor Levi Brooks, in a succinct manner.

If you are looking for a divorce attorney who demonstrates intelligence, thoughtfulness, compassion, patience, knowledge, strategic disposition, calmness (when necessary), aggressiveness (when appropriate), availability to client, respectfulness, understanding, mindfulness, organization, strong ethics/morals, whilst advocating 110% for the best possible outcome, then stop reading and schedule an interview with Levi Brooks.

Levi stood by me thru thick & thin during a divorce process that took about as long as I expected (influence of blinded - by love - “helicopter” on my ex-spouse’s side)

1) In my initial “interview” (yes I spoke with several outstanding and highly qualified divorce attorneys the weeks after being surprised & served divorce papers after a 30+ year relationship), Levi listened intently & authentically answered my questions. I wondered afterwards, could my instinct be correct? So many good attorneys, why does this guy stand out? Authenticity is the answer. I asked a LOT of questions of Levi. Professional and personal. He was honest with me, even it wasn’t what I DIDN’T want to hear. I value his truthful approach.

2) When I expressed (during initial interview, before I retained him) I wanted an attorney who could work with me so I could “give up everything of $ value & possessions to my spouse, so I could move on”...well, I’m thankful I had Levi for my “High Net Worth“ divorce (didn’t seem high net worth to me at the time). Like other attorneys I interviewed he wasn’t interested if I was going to listen & consider his counsel/legal opinion. Due to his thoughtful counseling I delayed reacting ignorantly based upon emotion. And later, I was so thankful for his experience and assertiveness. I subsequently learned my spouse (30+ year relationship) had withheld so many things from me, including winning six figures in the Colorado lottery (no joke - I was so naive and accepting), unknown financially draining habits resulting in depletion of retirement savings & accumulation of undisclosed debt, as well as other personal choices/decisions which violated our marriage vows.

3) Levi navigated me thru the complexities of dealing with a civil legal claim involving me, months after my spouse filed for divorce, sourced to my estranged spouse totaling a car (was in my name) whilst being charged and convicted of a DUI that injured an innocent family including a young child. The initial legal claim exceeded the auto insurance carriers limits, and included the revelation that my spouse had, less than 6 weeks prior, been arrested for DUI (after filing for divorce). Ironically, my spouse’s decision to withhold the first arrest assisted in minimizing my legal culpability.

4) Levi stuck by my side patiently and with empathy throughout - from the 1st nine months of “major grief” through a late evening phone call, the evening before trial, filled with questions of doubt on my part. This last minute phone call of doubt....was supported by Levi just like all of my emotional questions, responses of the past. He always treated these moments of emotional duress with the upmost dignity and respect, offered input and gave me time to make my own decision.

5) Levi is trustworthy. If he practiced business law I would hire him in a second. If he was a doctor I would hire him. If he was a CPA I would hire him. If he was a car salesman I would ask him for his best price and write a check. I trust him.

6) Every dollar I “invested” in legal fees with Levi returned almost 20X my initial retainer fee deposited with him. From a ROI perspective, I’ve never had this type of “return” from any investment in my career.

I went from expecting $0 (walk away, absorb all liabilities, start over) ...to a very nice figure awarded by the court - a legal system, with Levi’s guidance, that saw truth in my pain and ruled in an effort to affect justice - with Levi Brooks as my attorney.

Levi Brooks is exceptional. During one of the most stressful and challenging times of my life, Levi was understanding, comprehensive, and professional. Levi is like the special forces attorney in family law!

When I found Levi I was going through a highly charged divorce where I was being attacked it seemed from every direct. I retained Levi on a Thursday right before my divorce court date which was the next Monday. I was trying to do everything myself. Thank God that he took my case and was available for Monday. After he heard my divorce case and I was leaving his office he went to shake my hand and all I could do is hug him. I was so stressed and overwhelmed. When in court there were things thrown at him/me that I had know idea that these things were going to be thrown. He he literally was like a special forces paratrooper being dropped behind enemy lines being fired on from all directions. Levi kept a very level head and very ethical in all his actions.
