I was referred to Brian Langford by another respected attorney in the valley, so I had high expectations. I can say that those expectations were definitely met. Despite the negative circumstances that created my need for legal help, my experience with Brian and MacArthur, Heder & Metler was nothing but positive. Wow. I cant put into words how great Jeff Metler's office is, but I will try! I was in a serious car accident while pregnant and I was super overwhelmed with recovering and dealing with the insurance companies. I gave Jeff a call and he drove all the way from Provo to Logan to meet me! He helped me in more ways than I can write here. I'm so grateful. He was a great lawyer! His staff is amazing too! MHM Law Office is a great place to find ethical attorneys for a reasonable price. They also offer a diverse variety of legal services in which they are very experienced in. Our first adoption failed, but we were matched again soon after and they helped make that so easy and didnt over charge us. Highly recommend.

Total lack of communication and professional behavior. Engaged the firm's services for an extremely simple case (the attorney in question even stated as such). Had a great plan, started down the path, and paid the retainer. Month's later nothing had been accomplished. No longer spoke with the attorney, and only had contact with the paralegals who apparently had no idea what the plan was, as the attorney did not communicate it to them. They started down a different plan that my wife and I did not feel comfortable with, and didn't even understand.

Tried for over a year to get them to speak with the original attorney and jump on a call with us to explain what was happening. Circled back at the end of the year to an entire month of no responses to email and no phone calls back. I finally asked for a refund of the retainer which had not been used as the initial court costs to submit were never paid (since the plan was never clear). I received a phone call apology from one of the paralegals who gave a number of personal excuses why she wasn't responding to my emails, and said that she would refund my retainer in full.

I received a check for half of it.

Full-service law firm. As an attorney, I am highly selective when hiring my own attorney. I have used MHM for business deals as well as personal injury case. Very responsive, professional, optimistic and results oriented. They do a great job while remembering that their clients keep them in business. High recommend for Utah County legal needs.

I give them a three because I use them to get pictures and updates from my one adoption, and I am writing this review in hopes they may change, I would not use these guys as a birth parent, I never met the lawyer once and my family went back home to Ohio while I had to wait in Utah with just my one year old. I would suggest using an adoption agency instead of a private lawyer if you want a more personable relationship with who is taking care of your adoption. I felt they were more for the adoptive parents instead of for the birth parents. We truly go through alot handing off our children to people we don't know that we'll, and I really felt alone during this adoption. I was two hours away from this lawyer's office and literally had no one come talk to me, and just was left for the adoptive parents to take care of everything instead of taking up my side they didn't really help the birth parent , I understand that I wasn't the one paying for the services but you would think someone would have been more humble and helped out much more for what I am sure the adoptive parents pay, I really think that during the email they were friendly, but during my pregnancy didn't hear anything from them except to fill out paperwork and before I got to Utah, just trying to help them become more personable, I really was crying so much being alone and didn't have anyone since my family went back to Ohio and I stayed in Utah, and didn't have anyone come help me or even talk to me for that matter, I would suggest using an agency for adoption they would have seen me and my family stay together and would be there to advocate my side instead of one side, God Bless and remember Jesus Saves just ask!

Paul Macarthur and his staff have been truly an advocate for our business and contract needs over the past couple of years. He came highly recommended and hasn't disappointed. He is also a great friend.

If you are a father fighting for your kids, home ir livley hood. STAY AWAY from Kristy Hansen and M & H Law firm. They only mediate for the easiest resolution with no regards fir their clients.

I had a poor experience with Kristy Hansen, a lawyer with the firm that is a whiney annoying attorney. She has been very uncooperative with cases that we were both involved in. I do not recommend these overpriced and underrated attorneys.

Marla Snow is amazing, I recommended her to my friend she was going through a divorce situation and Marla just helped her so much! Marla is caring, friendly and great professional. I totally recommend her to anyone!

Marla Snow is an impressive person and a great attorney. She has an incredible amount of compassion and it translates into excellent representation. If you have an a, divorce, custody issue, a needed modification of a divorce decree or adjustment in child support then she is the attorney you should use.

My husband hired Ryan to help him get through the divorce with his ex-wife. Ryan was TERRIBLE! He wouldn't respond back to calls. My husband met with Ryan in person and spent two hours going over what they needed to cover in court. Ryan got it all wrong, so the only thing they could discuss is the ex-wife responding back to my husband in a timely manner. When they tried to get a change of location for the pickup/drop off spot, Ryan messed that up too. He stated that the pickup spot changed, but not the drop off. After 2 hours of meetings, going to court, that's the best Ryan could do for us? That's a lot of money spent just to say the drop off location has changed!

Ryan has messed up the QDRO forms 4 (!!!!) times, so the money still isn't split.

After court, Ryan said he would write up the paper work for the judge to sign. After 5 months of waiting for Ryan to do it, the exwife's lawyer wrote the paperwork and sent it to Ryan. HE DIDN'T RESPOND BACK!!! So everything was signed by the judge, giving the exwife everything she wanted!!

When my husband complained to the law firm, they said they would try to fix the problems. WHAT??!! There are too many problems to fix, they messed everything up. Oh, and of course charged us for any corrections and time spent talking to them, trying to sort out their mess.

DO NOT US THIS LAW FIRM!

I would say that K. Paul MacArthur is one of the best attorneys in the state of Utah.

Paul represented me in the adoption of an infant. I asked Paul McAurthur in an email how to cancel an adoption. Instead of responding to me LDS Family Services reports that his office called them and told them I wanted to disrupt the adoption. He never responded to me until 2 weeks later when I demanded he speak with me as LDS Family Services was requiring us to return our adoptive son to them. He claims he did nothing wrong. He is the worst attorney in the state of Utah.

Paul MacArthur helped us with a step-child adoption. His office was great, they were very easy to work with, they have an excellent track record, and were very affordable. They got the job done. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.
