Great at first and then dropped the ball on the rest! So many mistakes, so many unanswered messages, calls, and questions. Mr. Skousen himself was great but his staff needs to be more attentive.

I always felt like Russ and Gretchen had my best interest in mind. They did an amazing job answering all my questions along the way and Gretchen was always prompt and thorough on her responses. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I would encourage you to be careful about working with Skousen Law. I contacted them to do work for me, and was initially told they would be available to do so, and would set up an appointment with me shortly. I have since contacted them repeatedly using both phone and email, and have not received a reply after six weeks. The firm came recommended to me, but I cannot recommend them because they won't return my calls.

Skousen Law is a great place to get help when you have financial issues you need to resolve. They are amazing! Russ is GREAT, and Gretchen is AMAZING. Our situation was tricky and took a ton of work and attention to detail, it was nuts! Gretchen worked tirelessly to get everything handled and it was smooth and went relatively quickly. She kept us apprised of everything that was happening. She was very responsive-even answering my emails on weekends-and Russ always got us answers quickly. Very slow response from attorney and paralegal. Leave much of the work to you. I used them based upon Hyatt Legal's referral. Now they did get my BK filed and all back in 2013, but there were hiccups along the way, and deadlines almost missed. Russ refused to argue the value of a vehicle with the bank. The bank said "it has GPS" and I said "no, it never has". Russ said "it will be too expensive to fight it." Later in 2015 I came back to use them to help me dispute a debt, and all I wanted was a simple letter stating "Russ Skousen will represent Stewart if you try to pursue this further." Well, almost 6 months later they still never sent the letter. I don't recommend them, and especially don't recommend if you use Hyatt - they will mistreat you and put you on the back burner.
