My family was enjoying a fishing trip at Strawberry Reservoir when a drunken old man started harassing my husband about his fish he had caught that day. He threatened my husband with violence and my husband stood up to the bully and fought back with some harsh words. The drunk man called his Wild Life Ranger buddy down the road to stop us and search us, for driving intoxicated and to look for a gun We did not have a gun. We were illegally stopped and everything was illegally searched and our fish were seized. My husband was tested in the field for DUI and did all the tests the officer asked. Officer McTaggert was not happy and took my husband and our truck. We were left stranded at Daniels Summit. Turns out the wildlife officer got an illegal search warrant. Miranda rights were done after the warrant was called to a judge. My husband would never drive with our 2 small children in the vehicle. He was not drunk and the proof was in the blood they illegally took from my husband. 0.05% is ok to drive! Jason did an excellent job and caught the officer in a lie at the Drivers License Hearing. He is a talented ,smart attorney and I am very pleased with the outcome. This officer ruined our only summer vacation and to top it off he never mailed back my husbands drivers license. He must have destroyed it thinking he was never going to have to return it. The officer swears he mailed it back to us, but we never received it. We have to go and pay another $18.00 to get another one issued by the state of Utah.

From the minute I met Mr. McGinnis at the Utah Drivers License Bureau in St. George I felt relieved about my situation. He invited me back to his office and he and Nicolle sat with me explaining my case through their lunch hour. He also gave us his fees (which were extremely reasonable) and allowed me to make payments that I could afford. I was a new truck driver from Colorado.
