I agree with the other positive reviews. I have only had to hire a lawyer a few times in my life, maybe 5, but I would rank Matthew Nebeker at the top. He is an excellent lawyer, as well as quite compassionate for my case and circumstances. Additionally, he gave me excellent advice pre-trial on things I should do, to assist in a more favorable verdict, all of which worked. If I ever need a lawyer again, I wont search for one online, I will simply mr. d.u.i., Matthew Nebeker. I highly recommend him.

Possession of marijuana is what my original charge was, then the prosecutor added a charge of driving with a measurable amount of a controlled substance. I was not sure what the charge was so I called Mr. DUI. He told me It was almost like a DUI, but not. I knew I needed help. I did not want to lose my drivers license for six months for having a small amount of marijuana in my possession and in my system, nor did I want to be on probation and have to take a bunch of classes. Mr. Nebeker was able to avoid all of that for me. All I have to do is stay out of trouble for a year and all of my charges will be dismissed and I will keep my clean record. It will be like as if nothing ever happened. I was surprised that he was able to get such a great resolution to my case. Fine stars to Mr. DUI!

I was amazed when Mr. Nebeker came out of the meeting with the prosecuting attorney. I was almost in tears, because I was so worried about going to jail. I did not receive any jail time, nor was I placed on probation. He worked a deal were the case would be closed as soon as I paid my fine. I am trying to join the military so I needed my case closed as quickly as possible. Even though I am not in the military or even a veteran, Mr. DUI gave me his military discount. I could tell he really cared about me and my case.

I was accused of a crime I didn’t commit, and from the very beginning Mr. Nebeker believed in me and gave me confidence that he would make this go away. He was always on time for court and very professional. The staff always made sure I got reminders of upcoming events and changes in court proceedings. Mr. Nebeker was able to get the charges against me dismissed, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for help with a DUI or criminal charge. I hope to never need him again, but if I ever do I know where I will be going.

I was facing a serious PWID Marijuana charge in Davis County and hired Matt Nebeker as my attorney. Matt is very experienced, knowledgeable and negotiates on your behalf with your best interests in mind. Because of him, I was able to avoid a serious conviction. I highly recommend Matt to help you in your legal troubles.

I was referred to Matthew Nebeker by a friend. I went to visit other attorney's for a consult but when I met with Mr. Nebeker, I knew that he was the right fit for me. Mr. Nebeker was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done for my case and was always willing to answer any question I had. He made me feel at ease as my case was in very capable hands. I am so glad I was referred to him and I am even more glad that I chose to use him as my attorney. I would refer anyone to the legal services of Mr. Nebeker.

I have had nothing but great experiences with the law office of Matthew L. Nebeker. This is a competent and knowledgeable attorney who meticulously plans his defense, and fights to win. This is no "plea factory". I was treated with respect and kept informed on the progress of my case until it was dismissed. Since then I have referred my friends and family to Mr. Nebeker, and they were also happy to find an honest and decent lawyer who is affordable and different from the rest.

Very knowledgable and professional, I would highly recommend. I was more than triple the limit on my DUI. Mr. DUI found the loopholes and got my case reduced and saved my license. He was easy to work with, communicate with, and had a payment plan that worked for my budget. His staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Overall I ad a great experience working with Mr. Nebeker

I was convicted of a 3rd Degree Felony for Attempt to Distribute and Controlled Substance. I was living with a boyfriend. He was selling marijuana. Yes, unfortunately I knew and since it was just marijuana. I wasn't all too worried. I went with him since we were planning to go somewhere afterwards. He put the marijuana in my purse and made me count the money. Harmless right? Nope. I was pretty much an "accomplice" at this point. Booked a night in jail and thought Matthew Nebeker would help me. I was a full time student at SLCC and full time employee at AFCU. That changed after this situation. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. I am a good person. I run a fb group known as UTACURAZINE. We do donation drives to the humane society, road home and utah food bank. We also did car meets to donate blankets, sweaters etc during the winter for the homeless. This was on my own time and I did volunteer work at the humane society as well. That was not enough for Judge Dale to believe I was a good person. I have complied with every court date. I lost my job at AFCU and finding a different job with only experience with Customer service and having a felony. Was nearly impossible. I went from being a Teller to a Delivery Driver for an app. This was my first offense. I am only 22. I did my absolute best. All for just being at the scene and knowing what Jon was doing made me a drug dealer. I did not weigh the marijuana, bag it or anything. I did not deal with the undercover cop to set up times to meet up. I was not the one who was supposed to be in question. I was not the drug dealer. BUT during sentencing. Matt did not stand up for me. All he said was that I was a student and worked. THATS IT NONE OF MY VOLUNTEER WORK WAS NOTICED. I EVEN HAD THE PAPERWORK FROM ALL PLACES WE DONATED AND PHONE NUMBERS. Unfortunately, I was sentenced to 60 days home confinement. 2 years probation and 100 hours community service. WHICH WAS WORSE THAN WHAT JON WAS SENTENCED WITH. THE ONE IN QUESTION THE DRUG DEALER WHO EVEN ADMIT HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS INVOLVED. Jon was only sentenced to 3 years probation and 60 days home confinement. With being on good behavior that probation time can be cut in half. So technically myself 1 year probation and Jon 1 year 6 months probation. How is that even possible? When it was my time to speak. I told the Judge everything about me. From being involved with the community. Even had a car meet ready to go clean up graffiti in the parks. I told him I was going to school and was almost finished. I am a good person to everyone around me and was a hard worker. I told him about where I've donated and even wanted to show him the papers for proof. Till he told me that he did not believe a word I said. He believed that I did have part in this. And according to all the paperwork he did not believe me. He said if I keep the mindset of not wanting to take blame. I would not be able to accomplish through probation. HIS LOSS THOUGH. My probation officer is amazing and even told me that I shouldn't of been sentenced so harshly. He was surprised they actually sentenced me at all. I am almost finished with probation and my po noticed my service. After we finished sentencing. I told Matthew that Jon did not get community service. Why did I? His answer, "Well, you do community service anyways right?" TERRIBLE I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT HE TOLD TO ME. Now he is suing me for the money that I owe him which is around 3k. Would you pay 3k to a lawyer who didn't even do his job? Nope and I won't. I don't care send it to collections. At least Jon's lawyer stood up for Jon and even argued his case. Matt was only paid to be there. If you have anything worse than a DUI I would suggest going somewhere else. I thought he can help me. I already have no money for the court fines, restitution, home confinement my cost of living etc. BUT HE HAS THE AUDACITY TO BELIEVE I HAVE MONEY FOR HIM? NOPE.

I hired Attorney Matt Nebeker (mr. d.u.i.) to represent my son who was arrested for DUI and Drug Possession. At first I was not going to help my son get through the mess he had created for himself, but I scheduled a free consultation with Mr. Nebeker and learned about the long term consequences of a DUI conviction. I could not believe that a DUI conviction stays on a persons record for ten years. Mr. Nebeker did an amazing job and my son’s future is not ruined. I am so relieved that we found mr. d.u.i.

He literally did exactly what a public defender would've of done. Maybe even less..
I mean that's just my opinion. But I have friends that got less stuff than I just got. With a public defender. I don't even think he ever even looked into my case. Never sent me a discovery. Never asked any questions. Nothing. Just sent me a bill every month.

I hired Mr. DUI because I had received a DUI and wanted to save my drivers license. My DUI was a first offense and so it was only a Class B Misdemeanor. I was also charged with Drug Possession and Drug Distribution because I had several pounds of spice in my vehicle, the distribution charge was a felony. Mr Nebeker said I had a lot more to worry about than my license with the felony charge. He explained that any drug conviction will cause me to lose my drivers license for up to six months, which was longer than they would take if for if I was convicted of the DUI. All of this was very complicated and confusing to me but Mr. Nebeker took the time to meet with me and was very nice and made it make sense for me. I originally hire him to save my license and he made that the focus of my case. Had I lost my license I would have lost my job, which would have caused me to loose everything. My case was more about drug charges than DUI, but that didn’t affect Mr. Nebeker and his representation. If you are in trouble do not hesitate to call Mr. DUI for any type of charge.

I was so scared because I was charged with a felony DUI because had some prior driving under the influence charges. I had never hired an attorney to help me, but I was worried because this last one was a felony. After my consultation with Mr. Nebeker I felt that he understood how afraid I was of being convicted of a felony, and doing jail time, so I hired him. He explained to me that one of the first things he would do is look at my prior convictions to make sure I was properly advised. He was not the cheapest attorney, but my felony was reduced down to a misdemeanor and I did not do any jail time. Well worth the money spent.

I decide to hire Mr. DUI to handle my case after reading all of his reviews. Lol. I am glad that I called him because he stays current as possible on the DUI laws. In was pulled over because the officer ran my plate and seen that I had a suspended license. Mr. Nebeker told me that there was a new case similar to mine that was going to the Utah Court of Appeals. He was able to show the prosecutor the same legal argument from the other case and my case was reduced down to a reckless driving. I just had to pay a small fine and I did not lose my license. The other attorneys I spoke with before meeting Mr. Nebeker had not even mentioned this as a possible defense. Make sure you pick an expert!

I was not sure I needed an attorney for my case, because they said I had an invalid test, an insufficient sample. I went to court thinking they would dismiss case, but they wanted to throw the book at me! I told the judge that I wanted some time to speak with an attorney and immediately called Mr. DUI, attorney Matt Nebeker. I went back to Court with Mr. Nebeker on my side and things were a lot different. Mr. Nebeker was able to get it to where the prosecutor could not use the test against me even though he wanted to. Ultimately, my case was dismissed, as the prosecutor did not have evidence without the test. I know Mr. Nebeker worked hard on my case and that is why it was dismissed.

I was in a real tough situation i had probation violated my probation because i was arrested twice in two months which is basically guaranteed jail time. I was recommended to Matthew Nebeker or Mr DUI and he got me out of this mess with a great deal. When I was being sentence the judge told me to thank my lawyer I think that says a lot. I would recommend Matthew to anyone.

When I first met with mr. d.u.i (Attorney Matt Nebeker) He told me what to expect on my case. He said he would first look for a way to get my case thrown out of Court on a legal technicality, and if he couldn't get it thrown out he would try and get it reduced down to something that was not a DUI. After fighting my case for two and a half years, through appeals, motions, and intense negotiations Matt got me what I wanted. He never gave up and used every legal tactic that he had. I was very impressed with his willingness to never give up until I was satisfied with the outcome. mr. d.u.i. has earned that name in my book.

I was charged with an aggravated DUI for having my teenage son in the car at the time. I had not been drinking alcohol, I hadn't used and illegal drugs, but I was still arrested and charged for DUI. I really didn't think I needed to hire an attorney. I was only arrested for taking my prescription as my doctor prescribed. I was shocked when mr. dui told me that you can be charged if the medications make you incapable of safely driving your vehicle. thats when I knew that I needed an attorney. I hired Matt Nebeker/ mr. dui. He was able to work with me and got the charged reduced to a reckless driving. He said the prosecutor could not prove I was under the influence of anything. Something about no DRE. I will be forever grateful for what Matt did for me and my family.

My 17 year old son got involved with a group of kids from school who, come to find out, were involved with marijuana and alcohol. My son was leaving a party at on one the kids houses, and as he was driving away was stopped by the police, and arrested for driving under the influence. After asking around, I learned about Mr. DUI, and that he does a lot of work in the juvenile courts. I hired him because I did not want this on my son's record and the sever sanctions imposed by the drivers license division. In some case they will suspend a kids license until they turn 21. Thankfully, Mr. Nebeker was able to avoid all of that for my son. I don't know what I would have done without Mr. DUI.

I didn't know what to do after I had been arrested for my DUI. I had wiped out my savings bailing out of jail, getting my can out of impound, and it was close to Christmas. I could not afford to hire an attorney, and I could not let my two young children go without Christmas. I decided to call Attorney Matt Nebeker to get some advice even though I knew I could not afford him. Mr. Nebeker was kind enough to get started on my case without any money down. He was willing to take the title to my car, and I promised to pay him when I got my taxes back. He was able to quickly get my case dismissed. I would highly recommend to anyone,

I found mr. d.u.i. after doing some research on the internet about what to look for when hiring a DUI attorney. I called Attorney Matt Nebeker and was pleasantly surprised. He quickly returned my call, and got me in quickly for an appointment. After a quick meeting I decided he was the attorney for me. I decided to hire him. Mr. Nebeker immediately put, in writing, the price we negotiated and exactly what he was going to do for me. I walked out of his office with a copy of our written contract and was confident that my case was in good hands...

I was visiting the Layton area on business. I was staying at the Marriott and wanted to find a place for a couple of drinks after my conference. I seen that the Summit Lounge was real close to my hotel. Instead of walking there I decided to drive. After a few drinks I decided to drive back to the hotel. Well, not being from the area I got lost and was stopped by the police for driving to slow. I was later arrested for Driving Under the Influence. While searching for an attorney to represent me I came across mr. d.u.i., attorney Matthew Nebeker. I called him and after speaking with him I felt like he knew what he was talking about. Come to find out he DID! By the time Matt got done with the DLD and police it was like I was never arrested. He saved my life.

I was at a house party in Layton that started to get to rowdy. A fight had started between a couple of guys and I wanted to get out of there before the police arrived. Well, just as I was leaving the police did arrive and stopped me because they thought I might have been involved in the fight. I thought I was ok to drive but I guess I failed the Field Sobriety Tests. I told the officer I was on medication, but he did not want to listen to me. After they took my blood they booked me in the jail. I was so embarrassed. After I was released I was looking for attorneys, but there are so many i could not decide. I went with mr. DUI, because he specializes in DUI Defense. My job and family is important to me so I wanted a specialist. I was glad that I chose Attorney Matt Nebeker. He saved me. I did not lose my license and did not go to jail. I consider that a win.

I was stopped leaving Hill Air Force Base because I had forgot to turn my headlights on. It is so bright on base I had just forgot. Anyway, the officer thought I was under the influence because I told him I had drank a couple of glasses of wine. He said I failed the field sobriety tests, and this little box that he had me blow into. I refused all other tests, but that was not the right thing to do. I called mr. d.u.i., because I drive by his Layton office all the time. Matt Nebeker was able to save my license from an 18 month suspension for refusing the tests. I would highly recommend his services to anyone. Well worth the price.

What a great and helpful attorney! I highly recommend. Not proud of my story but here it is. I was leaving the Summit Lounge, in Layton Utah and got stopped for not signaling before leaving the bar. Sadly, it was my first time drinking and driving and I got arrested for DUI. I was so scared and freaking out calling everyone I knew looking for a good lawyer and a good friend referred me. He was so easy to work with, did an excellent job, and the case was dismissed! I don't have anything on my record about it. I thought I would at least get disorderly or something like that, but no, case got dropped completely! All my friends were mind blown! A few had been in the same situation and got lawyers who did not get them out and ended up with huge bills for nothing but not me. :) I am so happy with my experience, thank you so so much!!!!!

I travel a lot and often bring my brother-in-law with me as more of a navigator or if I get tired of driving. He received a DUI in Clearfield, Utah. We had just left Bogey's (a popular nightclub in Clearfield) and it was his turn to drive, I figured he only had 2 drinks but we were stopped within a block of the bar. It was like the police were watching us and were stopping people that left the bar. We had never been in this situation before, and I thought he was alright to drive but he was arrested and charged with a DUI. A business associate of mine who was a local told me to contact attorney Matt Nebeker and I am glad we did! My business associate mentioned Matt had been arrested for a DUI, and he knew what his clients would be going through. He explained the DUI laws in a way that I could understand, and ultimately got my case dismissed because the officer made a mistake in our case. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone who has been arrested for DUI.

We all have times in our lives when things happen out of our control. That happened to me when I was on a work retreat in Layton, Utah. Having the RIGHT person on your side at times like this is important. I was with friends in Layton, UT, we had been having a celebration party for a co-worker, and as luck would have it, I was pulled over during a routine traffic check. I had wine with dinner, and the officer felt I should not be driving. It was ridiculous, but I was sited with a DUI.
I had to find someone to help and fast. My job and my license were on the line. I called Matthew Nebeker because I needed the best DUI lawyer I could find. Mr. Nebeker went to work immediately on my case. He not only was able to show that I was not intoxicated, but got my case DISMISSED and I did not lose my license. I would recommend MATTHEW NEBEKER, LAYTON, UTAH if you want honest, fast, reputable help! He is the BEST! Matthew, thanks for all your help.
