I finally have decided to write a review. I did not hire this attorney , my ex-husband did and this is my story. I divorced my husband in 1993, my daughter was 10 months old . When I wound up leaving in the pouring rain to a battered women shelter. I had had it with him. After going through divorce any events that kept happening . I wound up having to stop letting my ex-husband see our daughter several years later he wound up taking me to court trying to take my daughter away from me. I went to court got my daughter an attorney , a supervised visits and wanted us both to be evaluated for stability. Supervised visits on the first one my ex threatened the two ladies , he even lost that supervision when we went to court he threatened everybody the judge , the Marshall,m court reporter, daughter's attorney and my father and I. I received sole legal physical custody. I went through three restraining orders but it was only a piece of paper .time and time again different people had saw him basically stalking us nothing was ever done. So I went into hiding , through the years from when my daughter was 10 months old to age 17 and a half I raised her alone the best I could for the last two-and-a-half years I had severe problems with my daughter with her behavior and out of control. She one day woke me up and started to cry severely.I got up and came to the foot of the bed to comfort her. I thought she was pregnant, I then found out while I was trying to comfort her , my daughter let me know that when she was 15 years old her father was molesting her when she was little. We went to the police but found because it was out of the area I had to do a police report where this incident had happened. Jumping forward till when she was 17 and a half she was gone one weekend with her friends, I came home and saw there was an urgent message on my answering machine, I thought something happened to her . We had our number for years unlisted because of my ex-husband , AT&t left an emergency message with a number to call and when I did I had found out it was the law office of Attorney Keith cope. When he came on the phone he told me, he was hired by my ex-husband. I said you have no idea what you've done as he began to talk he told me that my ex hired him to try and find us to get hold of my daughter he told me he knew that my daughter was working at the time at Subway and to put a hat on and come in to Subway and get in line to see her I, couldn't believe what I was hearing I told him that we had been hiding from him for years and that my ex-husband had been molesting her, my daughter came home and asked to write a letter on the computer, my ex was told by the courts no contact whatsoever he never attempted to ever do what he was required by the courts that gave him a chance he just didn't care , but once he came through the computer after my daughter asked my permission to write a letter including using the f word, I said if it makes you happy then let it fly, a short time later because of mr. Cope and my daughter was so out of control my ex-husband came down to get my daughter she had only about 3 hours maybe at best driving time learning to how to drive he decided to hand her car keys she wound up having a car accident immediately after totaling 3 cars . I have lost my daughter because of the damage my husband has done. She moved away I have two grandchildren. I want people to know mr. Cope knows my ex-husband was molesting our daughter. He still continued to pursue getting my ex and my daughter together, my ex enticed my daughter with a large sum of money and turned her against me, to this day now for three years my daughter has not spoke to me and I have not seen my grandchildren. I am sickened and I am heartbroke the three people that I love the most in this world I will never see again, Due to the fact then an attorney looked at getting paid and not into the facts of a person that came through his door. I hope someone reading this maybe you can reach out and tell my story and find some legal person that can do something about this .
