The people who work for the DA office are amazing and take pride in the work they do. To get the justice for the victims of crimes.

This is what the DA told me. "We do not prosecute public officials who break the law or the Constitution." There is no accountability for Shasta county public officials. County officials can break the law and our DA is ok with it.

Super respectful there! Front desk lady kept me company while I waited for my meeting and she was the sweetest. The attorney, Mr. Scarey, was amazing. He was kind and down to earth.

My friend told me about when she went down there to report her service dog being adopted out, while she was going through LSNC.
There she complained about the fact that she had talked to her representative about the facts, and asked her to approach this as though her representative was a Legal Professional, that knew what she was doing; and not to "ask them to give her her service dog back, because this was a violation..."
Overall this didn't happen. Whichever caused the loss of her service dog!
There after when she remembered in Court, that the DA would pick up cases where the charges were dropped; she thought this was a good idea!

They told her it was a Civil Matter...

To which case, it was done last night, by the RPD. When the manager took her keys, she was told to leave...
Dispatch on her second call, with a repeted call back, to get this same results! She is disabled and dying of Cancer. Can bearly walk, and like so many others; has no services at the Mission!

My friend has contacted about every place possible for help. And learned that therein are a few places to which should help! Without anyone to which responded! There she also returned to the DAs Office, spent what she said, about 45 minutes talking to the receptionist, to which her response was.
I DON'T THINK WE HANDLE THAT KIND OF THING!"
My friend replied. Yes you do! She had proof of this from the news to which shows that they do!

And still received nothing!

Computing problem

Continue to call, without response. Case is over 4 months out from incident, with status pending. No one can give me any other answer, than that the status is pending. The staff is rude, unknowledgeable, and slow. When will we just fire the entire staff and rehire so things get done?

I was sexually assaulted by a registered sex offender, William O. Mcgrew who is on Megan's list. His last offence before attacking me, was raping a little girl with a bottle for which he went to prison. When he was paroled to his mother's trailer park in Whitmore CA. he and his "wife" assaulted me by holding me down, ( am disabled with CP and MS and was walking poorly with crutches). He masterbated in my face and on my clothes.... I had to fight like hell to get away. I called the sheriff who returned my call.
He (Deputy Greg kettle) did not come out to investigate my report for three months, even though I called every day. No one came out to gather DNA evidence, clothing, nothing. When Kettle finally showed up, there was no evidence as I left the clothing out in the rain on the ground. No one did a rape kit, an exam, an interview in person , nothing. Victim Witness refused to help me. Sarah Van Slyke who was the deputy DA refused to file on my case, even though I begged her. No one believed me even though I had and still had a stellar reputation as a paralegal working in public law for seniors and Legal assistance. I have no record of any kind. I was not believed. I was threatened with death, and other violence by McGrew, his wife and his mother and friends. I was evicted. When I reported these incidents, I was told, "what do you expect?" I was treated like a liar and a piece of dirt. I fought. I tried to go all the way to the Sheriff, and he refused to talk to me. I talked to the commander, he was rude and dismissive. To this day I suffer in silence for the assault that left me with severe PTSD and other problems. His own wife has admitted that she lied, and I have proof by way of texts. They need to reopen my case and let me have justice. I am sick of the way sexual assault victims
are treated. I want my life and my dignity back. This was an assault on a disabled- a felony. I want justice.

Here for a training session, not for services. Interior if building was clean and pleasant enough, although it has the typical county government building ambiance and decor. Support staff were friendly and accommodating.

Single worst place in existence. Staff is helpful(ish), but half the time their information is wrong without then even knowing it. The DA is a joke, letting cases go or taking plea bargains for scum and then pursue cases where either the offended party dropped it or where charges are minor. Great job. Really, I swear.
