This attorneys office and David Bookbinder seem to be in no rush to return my escrow funds of $40,000 from a home sale that closed 2 months ago and pay the contractor for which these funds were being held in the first place. The contractor's work was done and approved within 2 weeks after the closing. He was paid at the closing so I don't have any leverage to get him to perform his ethical duty other than to contact the state board and file a grievance.

Update: Three plus months after the closing and I'm still waiting on money that was supposed to be collected at the closing. We hire attorneys to protect us from things like this.

One of the best lawyer that will offer you a deal that you can afford and it’s fair enough. My friend recommended attorney Allen to me when she had a case and won. So I did went and inquire for mines and got me a good deal. The judge that I went even know him personally and he’s not a newbie in the court. His recognize by all the other lawyers. He got me approved for a pti and got me a deal pretty good. A must recommend place. He’s very intelligent and a brilliant lawyer. He was once a prosecutor then retired got bored so went back to be a lawyer again. He will help you gather all the information needed and fight for your case until you win. His price was a little bit high for me because of the charges but he worked with my budget that I can afford and I paid upfront. Also takes phone calls and very responsive in all the questions asked. Very direct to the point and has a lot of recommendations if you need different lawyer for are of expertise. Will never let you down and will walk you through the process of everything both needed to know. Office is always available if you need anything and will schedule the soonest appointment they can. Attorney Allen Kaplan is the best layer I can recommend in ocean county.
