I met John Callinan more than eight years ago, after he gave a presentation to residents of Seabrook Assisted Living, on the importance of Estate Planning, including Wills, Health Care Directives, and a Durable Power of Attorney. Since that time John has done my Mother in Law's, My Mother's and my personal Estate Planning. I could not imagine dealing with anyone else. Recently I needed help applying for Medicaid for my Mother and started the process with a company that claimed to specialize in this process, in short it was a disaster, so I called John's office and spoke with Paula Fama, and explained my frustrations and the amount of money I had to pay the "Specialized Company" up front for much less than satisfactory service. Paula Immediately set up a meeting with John and from that moment on, I was relieved and had the confidence that they knew what they were doing. Paula was incredible and guided me through all the steps necessary, and handled all of the communication with the Board of Social Services through the approval process. My only disappointment is that there are not 10 stars to give.

Gets the job done

Mr. John Callinan & Paula recently assisted us in completion of the daunting Medicaid application process for my husband. Paula kept everything organized and flowing until the approval. We had a need for an elder lawyer & John put me and my daughters at ease with his plan to assist us.

I highly recommend John Callinan and his assistant Paula Fama. I don’t think you can find a better elder care attorney than John and Paula. They were always reachable and handled all the paperwork for my parents Medicaid applications, which were successful. What a daunting process but they made it manageable for me. In addition my sister and I used them prior to set up irrevocable trusts, wills, DNR’s, etc. for our parents. I also think their rates were very fair and they have a very nice manner about them in person and on the phone. This posting only goes up to 5 stars but I would rate them 10 stars.

Recently completed the Medicaid process for my mom. John was fantastic with his response time regarding any questions and is very knowledgeable. Paula was on top of all the documentation needed. You definitely need an elderly law attorney to handle these things. John Callinan is the one.

Very help and knowledge in Elder Care and Medicaid

I recently lost my husband and felt very confident in the way that John Callinan handled our estate. We have been clients for years and have appreciated his prompt attention to our questions and his reassuring manner.
