Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! I’m a struggling single mother of 2 small children. In selling my house, the buyers used Debra Himber.... between themselves, they hashed out a wonderful plan & stoke nearly $3,000 from me. When the ‘mistake’ was caught, they sent emails saying I ‘wanted’ to pay fees for the new homeowners! Yeah, I want to take from my children to help out someone I don’t know.... listen, I’d help if I had it like that, but I’m struggling! These people first tried to commit mortgage fraud, I guess when that didn’t work, the next best thing was steal from children! And to think, I actually made some extra, minor repairs to the property because I saw they were a young family & I understand what it’s like to do your best & still struggle. Stupid me! I don’t know how this beast can sleep at night!!!!!!

Absolute disgrace. Less than one star for sure. This lawyer Deborah never made it aware to my family and I that we purchased a home on conservation wetland and now she won’t call us back to help us with a mistake made on her part. I had to go there to her office to speak with her after 29 days of no call back with my infant because she wouldn’t call us back or answer the phone.. the ignorant receptionist kept telling lies she would call us back. Always some type of excuse. I wouldn’t suggest using this woman for anything. All that matters is the money.

We recently used Deb for a real-estate closing on my father’s estate sale. As one can imagine losing a parent and selling the home you grew up in can be quite hard to do. Deb was very compassionate and sympathetic to our situation. Deb was able to present things in a logical manner, staying factual helping to keep family emotion at bay. Deb never made me feel rushed and was always open to showing me the right thing to do to get through such a difficult but necessary transaction.

A few years ago, a family member was purchasing a house with a friend. Their real-estate agent used Deb Himber to carry out the closing. Through the process Deb noticed things were not going in a good direction for the joint transaction and called an in-person meeting with all parties involved. I was present at the meeting and with Deb’s unbiased approach she was able to show us how my family member was being taken advantage of in this transaction. The home was purchased by my family member’s friend but we were no longer involved.

I cannot thank Deb enough for shedding light on this situation for my family. We would have had years of grief stuck had we moved forward. Deb was extremely factual, compassionate and went above what was needed to carry out a real-estate closing. You can tell she has a passion for helping people with the time she spends answering questions and the long hours she puts into a work day.

I believe you would be hard pressed to find another attorney that comes close to the worth ethic Deb possesses.

She is a terrible lawyer. She was no help when we needed her. I would never use her again!
