Basil delivered a Christmas miracle to my boyfriend, his family and myself! After getting caught up in a seemingly unending cycle of rehab-jail-rehab-jail due to a technical probation violation, Basil was able to get my boyfriend released from custody and sent home just in time for the holidays. He got my boyfriend an expedited hearing after just over one month of incarceration (others sit 3-4 months before getting in front of a judge) and from there he made quick work of our case, achieving the best possible outcome - release from custody without another stint in rehab. I'm giving Basil 5 stars only because the result of my case went in my favor (he got a license suspension lifted). If all you're looking for is someone to win you a case and you don't care about the details between your first meeting and your last, then Basil is the way to go. I wasn't always kept in the loop about what was going on and I had to call several times to him or his office because I did not always receive communication on certain things. I was pretty disappointed that he committed to personally representing me but had twice sent someone else in his stead. That person (Michelle) was wonderful. But him not being present even though I hired him specifically, left me with the feeling of worry. Maybe he was dealing with a case that was more serious and he was needed there, but to me, my case was serious and important to me.

Basil, perhaps next time be upfront that there may be times where you will not personally be representing me rather than use a "bait-and-switch" like tactic.

Despite my personal issues with the aforementioned case, I would still recommend him and his office as the results went in my favor, which is ultimately what's most important. Thank you, again, for helping me.

Basil D Beck is an exceptional attorney. He was recommended to me from another exceptional attorney in the area for an ongoing drivers license suspension appeal I had been battling. He was able to obtain 2 court continuances for me in order to give me time to complete my suspension requirements. My wife was in the hole and there was no way to climb out of it. She had a suspended drivers license along with driving while suspended ticket and at least 7 or 8 other tickets the cops slapped on with that. According to EVERY other attorney we spoke to and every one we knew with any knowledge of this situation including the courthouse there was no way she would have her license restored. Some said if we file a nunc and it magically gets granted, then we will have a chance to fight for it back in court in several months. I kid you not, but the moment we called Basil Beck he didn't hesitate for a moment and told us there will be an 80% chance it will be restored within 2 weeks. A few days later he met us at the courthouse for our nunc, and not only did he get it granted for us through all his connections (he knows everyone) he literally had them send in all Imformation to restore my wife's license THAT day. And in addition, just in case if someone would think that he got lucky, Basil had the court drop ALL OTHER tickets my wife had gotten when pulled over with suspended drivers license. When I say that he knows what he is doing, I am doing an injustice to him, but I have no other words to put it in. He is literally the best person we could have called and worth every single dollar. We thought about doing it ourselves in court, but thank god we didn't, because a girl right before my wife's case was there for the same reason, and she came representing herself and ended up not getting her license restored and she got 10 days in jail.
