I have been working with Montgomery Law Firm for over a year now. As a single parent, I can honestly say that I could not fathom getting through the ongoing nightmare we currently have with my daughter's school district. The blatant disregard the school district has for my daughters safety and well being is completely disheartening. If I did not have this law firm on my side, I would be completely lost and would have, most likely fallen prey to the schools intimidation tactics. I can reach out to my lawyer with ease and convenience and I know he always shows the utmost attention to our case.

This firm secured my child an out of district private placement. The case went to hearing but after the first day the discrict caved in and settled the case. Montgomery law helped me with an issue at my daughters school. After the experience I send anyone who needs help with a school their way. Joe took his time with me to understand the situation entirely before advising. You can tell this firm cares about its customers.

BEWARE THEY DON’T CARE! If you really need help for your child keep looking for a different law firm because this firm will not assist you at all. Plus, they may decide to charge you a retainer of $500 although there are attorneys who can easily represent issues as serious as noncompliance without a retainer. Check the procedural safeguards. There are far better advocates & representation for your child. In my case, the District scheduled a meeting & this law office failed to follow through with District, cancelled the District’s meeting without rescheduling & failed to communicate with me at all afterwards. No rescheduled meeting, communication, or advocacy was offered by this firm for my son. I had to do it myself. Nearly a year later Michael, Whom I never dealt with before, contacted me about my son’s situation and spoke to me in a manner both rude and condescending. Michael didn’t have any knowledge whatsoever of facts pertaining to my child’s situation but was obviously told to blame me for a lack of follow through regarding my child’s situation, although I had many emails to the contrary. Regardless, since new issues of noncompliance developed I decided since the firm had information regarding my child dating back two years it might be worthwhile to retain their services for continuity. WRONG!!!Michael was still completely rude and the worst person to speak with when educational injustices were occurring against my child. BEWARE!! This firm completely dropped the ball when the District showed initiative to come to the table the first time around, did not follow up with me, then sent the worst possible representative in their firm my way. Save yourself the headache, heartache, and possible money. This firm, in my child’s case, added to the problem and did nothing to solve anything. I was my child’s biggest advocate and got the most done too. They never did anything. BEWARE THEY DON’T CARE! I am offering this HONEST review as a parent of a child who was being denied his rights to a Free Appropriate Public Education. Aside from being a parent I am also a masters degree certified educator of 19 years in the Philly Public School system. I care about my child and all children.That is why I posted this review.

Montgomery Law exceeded my expectations! Andrew, Michael, Mary and Joe were all wonderful and without them I never could have gotten my child the help he so desperately needed. My only regret is that I did not hire them sooner.
