I think all positive reviews here are fake and they've pulled down negative reviews through intimidation ( as they did to me)

In my opinion, he is an unprofessional lawyer. I believe they have fradulently billed me for over $10k. From my perspective, Patrick was never available on the phone, he was always late for meetings, and he was very dis-organized, unprepared and a mess in the court room. He has jeopardized my case by being ineffective in court. His office is also very sloppy and often misses paperwork, & deadlines as well. He also lied to the judge off the record suggesting that my request had no merit. Luckily, the judge brought it on the record and now, I'm able to fight an appeal against Patrick's failures.

When I initial posted this review, they had a lawyer email me with defamation claims. I wonder, is this the strategy they are using to take down negative reviews? May be this is why they still have a semi decent rating on Google?!

Highly recommend not choosing this lawyer. He is just out to make money!

Patrick Cooper was my attorney in an effort to amend my current divorce settlement agreement, which was signed several years ago. The likelihood of having the agreement amended was close to impossible. Not only was Patrick able to amend the settlement agreement, he was also able to lower my monthly financial responsibility. His calm and empathetic demeanor throughout the entire process made him a pleasure to work with, and offered that one ray of hope that I could hold on to. I had a last minute legal consultation and Yoninah walked me through the whole process. Having never needed legal work done made the experience daunting, but Yoninah walked me through everything and explained everything that she was doing. She even communicated with me late at night and on weekends when the deadline was drawing nearer. Getting in contact was a little hard, but that is to be expected, I suppose, when very short notice is given.

Filed for divorce with this office, they were very professional, made me feel at ease, answered all of my questions and informed me of everything along they way. I set up an appointment and met with Yoninah and fell in love with her passion for knowing the law showing she had her A game that sold me after 30 minutes. They truly know their worth at this firm. After paying my retainer a week later I spoke to another great Attorney at the firm, Joelle, on the phone who also gave sound advice and she was really good help too. I really like how all the Attorneys seem to team work together to help each other in my case. My personality is not easily adaptable when dealing with multiple people or change, I am choosey and will search for what I want untill i get it. However, I have to say all 3 lawyers at the firm I have talked with and been advised by are all pretty impresssive, skilled at their craft and made me feel comfortable by their confidence, sound advice and patience. Easy to work with, and never once blew their cool with opposing counsel, even when they failed to file, tried to get me called into court with bogus claims and did not seem to understand basic legal principles.
