I was not happy with my experience. I don’t like the fact that multiple lawyers can represent your case which is typically complex so there’s an unlikely chance of each lawyer knowing your case and how to represent you. Also everything is nickled and dimed. There were countless mistakes on the firms side example misspelling of names, addresses etc which made me feel they aren’t competent. Furthermore, it took well over a month with myself constantly having to call and or email them to fix my invoices. Lastly, despite their “years of experience” with divorce and child custody I never felt satisfied with their knowledge nor advice if any were given to me. I am shocked they have good reviews.

Holy cow, never, ever use this firm! They are extremely overpriced and they nickel and dime you for everything - monthly 'upkeep', keep-you-on file charges, recurring staff meetings, etc. Once they have your credit card on file, be very careful - I'd deactivate your card and get a new one. I left as a client 3 months ago but I just got a credit card notification that they charged me for without my authorization! This place is criminal - worse than my ex-wife. And oh yeah, my lawyer sucked.

Terrible experience. My case was very straight forward involving no claim or property distribution. The lawyer I hired left in the middle of the case and they assigned me another guy (they say have 20 years of experience) with higher rate (without giving me any advance notice). That guy lost document, forgot to take care of necessary document, and never shared copies of the court filings that he did even after asking multiple times.
The prothonotary office confirmed me that this law firm actually never represented me. They never filed the necessary document to represent me as a client and during the whole process, I was unrepresented although I paid them way more than the retainers fee. All they were doing was filing documents or trying to have the opposing counsel file them and create unnecessary billing items in the process (such as letters to the opposing counsel, emails, phone calls, etc). It was really difficult for me to get any response from them regarding billing related concerns. Raising my concerns to the partners simply wasted my time. Eventually I had to get the copies of the filings from the prothonotary office.
Dealing with this law firm was even more traumatic than dealing with the divorce itself.

Please read please read before considering using this law office first thing is they sent me a letter thanking me for Using them and billed me $200 FOR a draft and send of a closing letter to client and attachment of 3 final documents to email now the case was settled in one month out of court no problems no issues The lawyer that we selected was not the lawyer that we ended up doing a conference call with they were 12 minutes late for the conference call we still got billed the full amount. ‍♂️They missed spelled names on paper work I paid them to fill out and billed me to fix there mistake I ended up paying $5400 TOTAL. If you don’t believe me look at the few reviews before mine there taking advantage of people which is not right. The secretary of State will get a complaint.

I was very unhappy, frustrated and disappointed with my experience with this firm. The attorneys and staff are very personable. However, they do are not able to stick to the timelines established in paid consultations, which resulted in greater expenses and billed hours. When I did received drafts of the legal documents to be submitted, I could easily tell that they had utilized templates and used a replace function to type in the minimal amount of my personal information that had to be used in the forms, which I could easily discern as I saw my name misspelled in more than five distinct sections. In my initial invoice, I saw that they had charged me for a function that the attorney confirmed they would not need for my case (a cost of a couple hundred dollars). When I realized I had been incorrectly billed, I contacted their office and left all my contact details as well as a brief explanation of my concern over four distinct times in the expanse of over 2 months, and to this day they have not contacted me back over this issue. My final thought is, if your case is so important that you require legal advise and assistance, consider whether the representation of a firm that will overcharge you, under-appreciate your case, and not provide you with the attention that someone that has paid well over $4k deserves. Though they are lovely people, they were more than a little underwhelming as my representatives and they left a lot to be desired in their professional abilities.

Please Beware Of This Firm. After meeting with Mr pettrelli and paying the required $300 consulting fee mr pettrelli assured me we had a good case. He went on and assured me it would be he himself that handled the case with the help of an apprentice. When asked if he would be in court representing me he went on promising that I would not just have him however it would be both he and his apprentice appearing on the day of court. As it turned out only his apprentice appeared. His apprentice went on to explain how he's only been at the firm for just over a month... after multiple attempts to contact mr pettrelli having no luck
His apprentice lost my custody case and mr pettrelli never showed his face. After charging me a $3000 detainer he sent me a invoice stating I owed him an additional $2000 for services that were not rendered. $5000 for 1 day in court and he never once showed his face! STAY FAR AWAY FROM TOMAS PETTRELLI!!!!
