Unprofessional and arrogant

Went to this attorney for a consultation. The staff was horribly rude and not professional. The attorney was worse. Very curt and not very knowledgeable of current laws. I would NOT recommend this attorney.

Mr. Chalker should get 0 stars. He told me that we would win a big lawsuit and then dragged me along with months while he did no work and tried to get the company to settle so he could take his cut. I ended up with $0 and can't get anyone to take the case now since he screwed it up.

Literally the worst lawyer you can imagine.What a total joke. He said he would take my case and then never returned my phone calls or emails. Then finally he said that there wasn't enough money in it for him so he wouldn't take my case. Total scam like you see in the movies

Contacting Mr. Chalker was the worst thing I could have done. I trusted his judgment and took his advice by dismissing my case, until he could spearhead a Class Action Lawsuit with his colleagues, which was no doubt possible to achieve, with a competent attorney. However, Mr. Chalker has wasted my time and monies. To this date, he has yet to follow up with me about the case, or keep his word on doing so! Thank God, I found an attorney. Representation who's truly interested in helping me, seek justice. Not an attorney simply in it, to get a big settlement. Now I'm on the right track.

One of the people who put a review on line was talking about people throwing shade at this lawyer. Everybody experience is different. I fill out the online form to get legal help. I was contact by Philip. He told me he was not accepting new clients. I asked when he was going to accept new clients. He told me probably in another month. When I asked him another question a minute later he didn't respond. If he is not accepting new clients he should put that on his website. Also if somebody asked you another question it not going to hurt to answer their question. I will look for legal help elsewhere or I will handle my legal issues on my own.
I hope I would have seen what he put on-line sooner. I did not check my reviews.The response he put on-line was different from the response he e-mail me.

Mr. Chalker, is indeed a legal guru. I don't know how he does it but he indeed knows the law and how to work his work around. I worked with Phillip Chalker on a case that i had initially lost all hope for specifically with trying to work on it myself. I almost gave up till I consulted him. During our conversation he was very honest with me on outcomes and options to resolve the issue. I took his word for it and let him be the lead. In the end, he proved to be very honest with what he said; He knew the Laws of Maryland far more than any other attorney I had consulted, and his intentions was not on the money but rather winning the case and meeting his clients needs according to the Laws of the land, unlike other attorneys that I had consulted with before him who seem to be money driven. His fees was very reasonable compared to others. I have worked with a few attorneys from different states in the past and I would say Mr. Phillip is my to go to person with Law matters for Maryland.
