Being in an accident is life changing. Having your insurance company, who collected your premiums for 40+ years, thumb their nose at you, show complete and total disregard for your physical and mental well being and offer you compensation that doesn't even cover the loss you suffered is demeaning and defeating.

I am very appreciative of the excellent work John H. May and his law firm did for my husband and me after I was injured when I fell on black ice at a convenience store. I suffered serious injuries that required surgery. In the days following my fall I was being ignored by representatives of the company, and Mr. May quickly filed a lawsuit to force the store to produce the surveillance video (that showed that my fall was unavoidable), as well its internal snow removal policies & procedures. In reviewing this evidence, he discovered that the snow removal contractor violated the company’s internal safety rules by piling snow in a high traffic location where it could melt and refreeze as black ice. We eventually went to mediation and, using this evidence, Mr. May obtained a substantial settlement for us. The mediator told us that if we hadn’t had the video evidence (which is often deleted by companies after 20 to 30 days) and an attorney who was willing to take our case to trial, our claim would have only been worth a fraction of what we ultimately received.

Attorney May Sr met with me looked at only a few documents and did more for me in less than 30 minutes than 3 law firms did in 6 years.

Im only rating 5 stars so this is seen. May, Metzger and Zimmerman are scam artists. I needed legal help claiming the belongings of my father who just passed away with no will. I waited two weeks to see an attorney even knowing the case was time sensitive. I called personally at 10am to confirm my 11am appointment, I was told "We'll see you at eleven". I arrived at 11 and was told I would have to reschedule because they had heard someone else had helped me and they would have to call me. I lost my money and my chance to recover what belonged to my lost father so John Metzger could take a longer lunch break and all the receptionist had to say was, "yea....sorry....". Dont waste your time or money here.

I worked with Paul Zimmerman and was very pleased with the work that he did. Z is the man..I have used mr zimmerman for more then 3 years now,
this is a great well knowledge and educated hard working and preparing lawyer. Being a single young father in this county i was doomed from the door. with mr zimmerman i went from every other weekend to every other week!! all holidays are now 50-50 and i have goten 2 contempts of court against the other party, the greatst part.. they know im not messin around or playing games anymore and i bite back... harder! all thanks to mr z. ive learbed alot and i mean alot i am very familiar with civil law now. i owe it all to him and his efforts. this man is more then a lawyer, he is a genuine human being, yes he has a job, and needs to make money, its the nature of the game, but when you hire mr z. he really gets into your case, you can see he is really fighting for you and belives in yoou. spends alot of time preping, you will never find a lawyer who preps the way he does and as much as he does nor will you find a lwayer who openly invites you to have as much involvment and understanding of your own custody litigation, explaing every step along the way. ive also used mr may in this firm, and same thing a strait foward no bs lawyer. i reccommend everyone at MMZ, they are all friendly encouraging and great people, it dint take long for me to obtain a leval of comfort with everyone there, they all route you on and do what ever they can help.
