Going to the law offices of Hoffmeyer and Semmelman is truly an experience unlike any other. You walk into the front entrance and you are transported to another world, leaving you desiring the bay and marina life. Boats to your left, boats to your right, boats on the ceiling and a lovely waterfall along the staircase ahead. As you follow the staircase, you are greeted by a charming young woman at the receptionist desk who is nothing but helpful and polite. The attorneys themselves are professional but approachable. They are prepared to take on whatever lies ahead using their well-educated backgrounds and experience while still maintaining a relatable and easily approachable demeanor.

We are restoring an older building and one of our contractors was giving us a hard time. The contractor broke his promise to work so many times and never delivered the work on our agreed upon completion date. Even though the contractor does good work when he performs, we are getting very frustrated by his inconsistency. Finally we had enough and could not wait any longer for him to fulfill his promises. Poor - Fair doesn't even come close to an accurate rating for my experience with this terrible law firm. A more accurate quality rating would be "abysmal". We've been dealing with them due to a property dispute for the last four years and to say they move at a snail's pace would be giving them too much credit. They're communication is horrendous. They basically ignore your emails and phone calls for weeks or months on end, the only reliable constant communication you could expect out of them was when they would send you the bill. Stay as far away from this place as you can!
