On July 12, 2018 was a master of art in the court room it was like something you see on TV. After 34 years in prison I watched Lloyd Hall be released from prison due to the outstanding work of C. Justin Brown, Lylian Romero and the Brown law firm team. It was an historic day in the Montgomery County MD circuit courthouse. We are grateful that justice prevailed....

After meeting Mr. Brown and hiring him feelings of hopelessness became feelings of hope. In 1986 my brother was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole. Justin is a wonderful lawyer. My wife and I didn’t know where to turn and a friend recommended Justin. Once we spoke with him he took my wife’s case.

We had two other lawyers who didn’t do much and just took my money. Justin had to undo what they did and then do his thing. It was a long road and Justin got the 22.5 year sentence thrown out and then the judge gave her 8 years instead.

Justin is a fighter and it was a long road. He brought my wife from WV to Baltimore and talked to the prosecutors and she and Justin worked out to bring my wife back to court. Myself and my wife’s sister testified and the judge basically took the 22.5 years back and gave her 8 years. She’s ready to come home any day now.

I want to thank Justin and Brown & Nieto for doing a wonderful job representing me in my case and giving me my freedom back. I was in a jam because of BPD having bad and untrustworthy officers, and Justin did an excellent job at trial for both of my cases - in Baltimore City and Anne Arundel County. When Justin got up there and cross-examined the officers, he caught them in so many lies and tripped them up on so many things they were saying that were false. Mr Nieto was a major disappointment. I knew I was in trouble when it took me an hour to get him to understand the difference between an ownership interest and a secured interest. I take the hit for hiring attorneys that did not understand the industry they were defending. Mr nieto is probably excellent in drug and other crimes but he is totally unfit to try real estate fraud cases.
