Attorney Buterbaugh and his staff did an excellent job for my SSD case. He and the other staff members were very friendly, professional ,and completely knowledgeable in every aspect ot the process. They answered any questions that my Wife or I had in a timely manner. Attorney Buterbaugh had to fight a long battle with Social Security and in the end he won. I would recommend Attorney Buterbaugh to anyone. Thank you Attorney Buterbaugh.

Mark Buterbaugh represented me for my Worker's Comp Claim, and also for my Social Security Disability. He won both cases for me. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and answered any and all questions either my husband or I had. The other office staff was also very friendly and polite. I would highly recommend Mooney & Associates and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for anything in the future in the need arises.

I recently used Mooney and Associates for my custody case. My representative was Jessica Weaver, with her clerk being Gina. I wish I had never went to the office. The only thing that my attorney accomplished was to take money with "itemized" lists. The retainer that was used initially, I was told would cover the case, since it was a simple open and close issue. Somehow, Jessica blew through the retainer and then billed for thousands extra... How I am not sure, but can you really fight with an law firm about numbers? They threaten to take you to court if you question it. I paid my bill every time with Gina saying that everything was all paid for. She lied to just get me out of the office, and then they would send another bill in the mail. I solved my own case by the way. No attorney needed. Jessica was lazy, and did not hold my best interests at heart. It was clear and obvious after they took my money. The scheme at the beginning was a good one with the consult. Afterwards, I saw through the ploy too late. Please, if you are considering using this firm, look elsewhere. I am not saying this vindictively, nor with any anger at having been taken advantage of at the weakest point of my life. They can not be trusted. Please help yourself and go with someone else.

If I could rate Lawyer Chase in the negatives on here, I would! I will never recommend Moony Law to anyone...! She is highly unprofessional, arrogant and condescending... I definitely recommend going elsewhere...!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS JOKE OF A FIRM!
Went to Mooney and Associates to seek legal representation, my assigned lawyer was Shawn Stottlemyer, worse lawyer I have ever hired. He said the fees were $981.00 which I paid up front then turns out I owed another $160.00 for "itemized charges and fees" and sent these to collections. I will never recommend this law firm.

I am writing in support of M&A attorney Carolyn Anner. Carolyn and her office are truly the best things to happen to me within the last ten years! After the successful conclusion of my wrongful termination suit (different firm) I turned to SSD. Unbeknownst to me, this would become a five year odyssey through the hills and mountaintops of government bureaucracy and seemingly endless red tape. My first bite at the apple was handled by an attorney who frankly seemed indifferent to my situation, and he lost, as I expected. Don't ask why I didn't fire the guy; I don't know. A big part of winning a case is picking your lawyer, which is why I'm writing.

Enter Carolyn with Mooney and Associates. Firstly, her timing was impeccable. She was hired on at almost the precise time where I REQUIRED excellent legal counsel. She was up to speed with my case, well read on the case material, familiar with the judge, and ready to go in no time at all. If you are applying for disability, Carolyn is the lawyer who you want to talk to for numerous reasons. Before entering law, she worked in health care as a registered nurse for several years. She's seen all sorts of disabilities over her career; she recognizes how they debilitate you medically, financially, and legally.

These factors give Ms. Anner an insight into your life that most lawyers lack. They haven't seen it; they haven't treated it; they haven't lived it; so, their ability to successfully advocate for you is often limited to what your doctor writes and what you tell them. Carolyn was asking me good questions and getting information about my disability so that we were all on the same page long before we went to see the judge. She knows what to ask in court, and she knows how to counter the state's gobbledygook. To word it another way, she speaks both law and medicine, and she streamlines the two languages so as to better inform the judge rather than simply rehash the material you've already declared on paper. If she takes your case, it's because there's substance there and because you're someone in genuine need. Her nursing instincts have never left her. She is by your side every step of the way and navigating the waters so you don't have to guess or question where your case stands.

You're not going to find many lawyers who are are as intimately versed in this area of the law as Carolyn, so I highly urge you to go and speak with her before pursuing social security disability. Chances are good that you yourself don't have the skill set to win. I didn't! You need an advocate who is going to fight zealously hard for you whilst caring about your outcome just as equally. That's what you're hiring. She knew we won before we even left the hearing room, and so did I.

Although my decision was returned favorably, I would be saying the same thing if it was returned unfavorably because she couldn't have fought harder armed with the facts in evidence we brought with us. She's a true asset to our community. Kudos also go to her paralegal Shawnda who worked behind the scenes to ensure a good outcome and answer any general questions I had as we went. I couldn't be happier with both of them!

I went here looking for help with a custody case. The lawyer said he would help, but he would rarely return my calls. When I did get a chance to speak to him he never worked on my case at all. So much time was wasted.

They lie about there fees, only want to take cases that are easy to win, very young and inexperienced. They have several bad reviews, so take it for what it is. William
