I came to Alex Shook a few years ago regarding the recent passing of my grandfather.This was an extremely difficult time for my family, that would become much more complicated as it became more and more obvious his death had likely been the result negligence or medical malpractice. Unsure of how to handle a situation like this, I scheduled time with Alex to review the facts as I knew them. During our meeting, Alex put me at ease, knowing when to ask questions and when to listen. Several years ago, I had a dispute with my employer, which required legal representation. I retained Jacques Williams to assist me. It could NOT have turned out more perfectly. Mr. Williams and I worked extremely well together. I dug up appropriate details of the record to present to the court. Mr. Williams played the offensive lineman and bulldozed through the opposition. Before each court session, Mr. Williams very accurately told me what to expect in this proceeding, including the proceeding results. I can honestly say that I sweated during cross examination by the opposition, but I really believe that the opposition sweated under Mr. Williams cross-examination more than I did under the opposition's cross-examination. I achieved a just outcome. I could not recommend Mr. Williams more highly than I have with this review.
