I had been working at the neighborhood hospital. After having a heart attack and having other medical problems, I finally faced the fact that I just couldn't do it anymore. I was worried about how my husband and I would be able to pay bills until I received social security in a couple of years. My daughter in law suggested that I get on the computer and check into disability. I was only 62 years old. I had never thought about NOT being able to work. I had no idea what to do, or, who I could talk to. I was contacted by a wonderful woman from Jan Dils agency. They were in contact with me from the beginning all the way up to the letter stating that I had been approved. (I had to read it three times) Imagine my surprise when I received the letter 6 months later that it would be starting the next month. This office went above and beyond to get me the help I needed. I thank all of them so very much. My husband and I can breathe easier.

I have have 5 buldging herniated discs that hurt me while working and they told me I had no chance just because of my age. Also they dont let u actually talk to jan dills herself. U see a middle man . Also they told me to do their job and collect medical records and all the things a lawyer would do. I hear she's good. But how do u get to actually have a interview with her.

locked my appeal up so that my local vso couldnt get into my claim and appeals to give me any info on the status hence fourth I could never get through to the firm to get info about the status of my claim , they siad they would get me my military disability claim for myself and my family and all that was done was that they filed a NOD and waited for a pay check.....the outcome was I got 10% and and that cost me 2000$ and I had to do 100% of the footwork calling the vba, congressmen, senators and the white house VA complaint line to get my pension which this law firm charged me 2,700 to file the NOD on. I could have done all this myself or with my vso at my local va and it wouldnt have cost me a dime. DO NOT USE A LAW FIRM TO GET YOU VA DISABILITY USE A VSO from the DAV or VFW they cost nothing and they will actually fight for u this law firm charged me almost 4,000 to file 2 notice of disagreements in that time I lost my home, career and children do to my DISABILITY. Beware

I would recommend anyone that needs an attorney to call Jan Dils (and I have told people to call her). Her staff is wonderful! From the time you go in for your first appointment to give them your information, you know that they really care about you. I was kept informed about everything they were doing. Even though it took almost 4 years to get a court date, I was called or sent an e-mail every month. And when you have an appointment, it is so easy to go to their website and enter the information instead of having to wait and call the office. They get the information immediately.

When we finally went to court, the attorney that was appointed to me was amazing! She explained everything that was going to happen in court and what I was expected to do. She fought for me in court and we ended up winning.

Jan Dills make SSDI a simple process.I have been asked by a lot of people and I tell them don’t try yourself.call Jan

Contacted them because I was hoping to have my personal injury claim settled which was almost one year in the making and still was making no progress with the insurance company, even though I had a lawyer.
The representative I spoke to said it would be absolutely no problem that I already had a lawyer and that my lawyer had already sent a demand letter and was trying to settle.
I informed the other law firm that I was going to seek new representation with Jan Dils and they agreed to release me of all attorney fees and associated costs. They also agreed to send my entire file over to Jan Dils office.
Almost 2 months later after hearing nothing from their office, I get a voicemail and an email from an attorney at Jan Dils office stating that they will not be able to assist me with my case and that I should seek other counsel because they do not typically “work cases in which the client had already sought representation and reached the settlement/demand phase.”
They wasted my time and either that attorney was lying about why they didn’t want to handle my case or their representatives haven’t been trained on what types of cases they handle.
Just another money hungry law firm looking to exploit veterans and other high dollar cases, not looking out for the rest of us. Don’t trust them just because they have a big advertising budget!

I have waited two years for my case to be approved. Everyone at the office was a great help and stayed in touch.
I recommend to everyone to use Jan Dils and her team.

I got hurt at work and was denied workmans comp i chose not to have an attourney because it was open close case i thought i had to get back surgery and the dr had me on several pain pills. It took awhile, but thank you Elizabeth for finally calling and answering my question as to why my DRO hearing was waived and explaining to me my case moving forward. Great attorney

I am currently a client for a va claim, once I send in my iformation not even a month latter I had appointments to go to va clinic in Columbus, Ohio several times. This tells me they got on the ball, I don't have a lot of contact with them, but I know they need the time to help others and they will get things done. My case goes before a judge and in the meantime it takes several years, not their fault. I take it as a savings account of back pay and confident they will win my case.

Like other people commenting/reviewing, I was to the point of almost giving up on my claim. The attorney's and staff at Jan Dil's helped me out tremendously. The staff found that I wasn't even listed as a "Combat Veteran" according to my VA Records, even though I spent 15 months in Iraq and 12 months in Afghanistan as a Combat Fire Support Specialist.

This place is a joke!! Dont waste your time calling these people!!! An attorney named (Mike Metro) wanted to take my case but I was in the middle of moving so i didnt sign with him. I figured i would first try to deal with the store on my own and if I couldnt get anywhere with them, i would then try to find a local attorney to help. I called this office and gave them all my info then waited on hold for 20 minutes and when the "paralegal" got back on the phone her exact words: "I know it sounds callused but if you didnt break any bones then we can't help you". I wasted an hour of my life on the phone explaining my life story for them to tell me they couldnt help unless I actually broke my back. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT SAY YOU HANDLE SLIP AND FALL CASES IF YOU DO NOT HANDLE SLIP AND FALL CASES!!! AND BE MORE CLEAR ON THE WEBSITE...TELL PEOPLE >IF THEY DIDNT BREAK ANY BONES, DONT BOTHER CALLING<

Staff is very nice and helpful

I was extremely pleased with my experience with Jan Dils Attorneys at Law. All the staff there from day one were open and honest with me. They took their time in addressing my questions and making me feel comfortable. Although the disability process can be long and stressful, they continued to keep me informed and if I needed to call them, there was never a huge wait for a call back. I highly recommend them

Since the beginning in Sept. 16, 2016 I have nothing but praise for those who have helped me during this time. The only caveat I have is when I call and leave a message, they would always reply the next day. Other than that, my experience with Jan Dils has been wonderful.
