Closed a loan for us on New Years eve saving our buyer a lot of money in the process.

Absolutely terrible. Complete nightmare. They screwed up the deed for one of my major properties. Required it to be placed in a LLC instead of my personal name and didnt do that successfullt. They wrote the address down for taxes to one of my rental properties instead of my personal residence. I would highly recommend NOT using this company at all!!!!
This has been one of the worst experiences of my life when dealing with this title company.
1. At closing, Sal (the owner) was 45 minutes late!! Our lender reached out to the title company multiple times and never received a call back. Sal called my wife's phone once, but did not leave a voicemail. He never tried contacting either of us after that first phone call to explain that he was running late.
2. As a part of our closing, we had to pay off some debt. Because we wired all of our closing costs to Security First, our lender sent all of the relevant payoff information to Security First Title. However, Security First Title didn't understand what payoff documents went where. Instead of contacting our lender for clarification, they contacted us and told us they didn't receive any instructions. They then sent us the checks and told us we had to forward them onto the appropriate places. This, ironically, was the only thing they did on time. After telling our lender what was going on, they told us they had never experienced such poor service from a title company in their entire career, which is over 30 years.
It's worth noting that we paid a nice fee for all of their "services," yet they forced us to do their job and send these checks out.
Ultimately, this is still an open situation. We closed almost a week ago, but only just received the checks back in order for us to send them out. We are doing this today, but never should have had to in the first place. Security First, you should pay us back any of the fees we paid you for your "services."
