Mr. Fields did my case much more harm than good. Constantly cancelled appointments, didn't forward emails to me from the guardian ad litem. Accounting errors on the bill, double charging, major court date canceled morning of...constantly on vacation, huge milestones missed, basically clueless about the case on the court date, didn't inform me of extremely important documents to review, I showed up to court without being apprised of updated schedules and documents...I still suffer to this day because I didn't have enough money to fire him and go with a different lawyer....I basically got NOTHING, and she got 100% of what she wanted...ridiculous schedule, and extreme inequality. My son sleeps over 4 nights a month during the school year. 4 nights a month...

Low cost attorney = Low outcomes

Mr. Fields helped my wife tell the court numerous lies to deny me visitation with my child.

I do not agree at all with the negative statements in the other person's review. Kristi, as well as the other legal professionals at Orval Fields' office are truly the most professional compassionate individuals I have ever encountered in the rough road of divorce and family law. I would rate them all as way above average in honesty and justice. They have always considered the well being of my children even above my own. To claim that Kristi, or anyone in that office, would state that she was not concerned with the well being of the child/children in the case is an utter lie by an obviously jaded person who did not agree with a JUDGES verdict and is therefore taking it out on the attorney. I usually do not write reviews, but I saw this and I'm appalled that anyone would claim such nonsense. I have worked with this office for several years, I have spent a lot of money, yes, but it is because they are the best family law office out there. I have used other lawyers before them, and none were as concerned for my situation and the well being of my children as Mic (Orval), Kristi, Laura and Linda, as well as the other people I've worked with in that office. They've all taken time to talk to my children, to listen to both sides of my case. My ex appreciated their family values so much that we opted to use them together in the final decision of our divorce, because they are fair minded class act individuals. I'm sorry that the man with the bad review had a bad experience, but I doubt any of it had to do with Kristi, rather he disliked a judges ruling and spending money on a decent lawyer does not guarantee a judge is going to agree with your plea, and no good lawyer should be held responsible for a judges ultimate decision.
