Did the bare minimum in helping my husband. In the almost 2 years waiting on the court date, our attorney Carl Karlock, was only in touch 3 times max. I asked about appearing on my husband’s behalf and he told me no, even without asking the court. He did nothing to fight for my husband’s approval when my husband has proof that his quality of life is around 15% compared to other people. Please do not use this law firm unless you are prepared to basically represent yourself. Because if there is more than a small amount of work to do, they won’t do it, you have to. I wish I had known how little they were going to do, I could have gathered all the things myself. Even after informing him of where more information was to help our case, he still didn’t do it. He seemed disinterested in helping us at all. Maybe if we would have been getting a bigger back pay he would have worked harder since that would have meant a bigger paycheck for him. I’ve told all family and friends to look elsewhere if they need an attorney for any type of disability

This was the most stressless experience I have ever had since my disability onset. The staff here are professional but don't make you feel like a number or statistic. I've been battling spinal issues since 2004 and a friend told me about this place. At first it seemed decent, but as time goes on and appeal after appeal Ken don't seem to be doing anything. I never receive a phone call from them and just don't think he's fighting for me.
Update. Finally everything went through after 6 years of fighting. Ken did make an arrangement with me to pay for the federal court when my back pay comes in, but still feel it shouldn't had to go that far.

Ken did a great job. He advised all through the process and at the hearing. I know I wouldn't have been able to do it without his teams support and guidance.

I've dealt with a few different attorneys in my life. Julie Anne Hall from Cutter Hall Karlock, LLC. takes the cake as the absolute WORST!! Julie cared more about her dog she keeps in the office than she did me as a client! First Julie never physically sat me down to talk about my case. Julie Anne Hall also told me "Do not do my job by bringing me your hospital records." But when my case was denied the reason was..NO RECORDS FOUND! I had multiple surgical procedures! Apparently Julie can't do her job!
Now this next part is the worst...

I feel it is only right to write a review because I feel I had a very unique situation going into this office and I want anyone who has doubts or fears that sees this to know they aren't alone. I walked into their office after already being very far into my case. Years in fact. I am only 30 years old and have very hard to prove conditions. Therefore attorneys were reluctant to take my case.
5 minutes into meeting with Julie Hall I think she was already settled on taking my case. At this point everything was taking into her office's control. My hearing was set and at this point there was only waiting.
She always responded to my contacting her almost immediately. Her opening statement at the hearing was amazing and the judge had let me know before I even left that he had already decided to give me a favorable judgement. I may have not showed it at the time but I was completely floored. I am now ready to close this chapter on my life and go from no options, no hope, to only possibilities. Ken is one of the rudest "professionals" I've seen in a long time. I took the time to show up early for my appointment as to make sure I wasn't late or wasting his time. He was gracious enough to see me slightly early, however he was complaining about "our time" before our time for the appointment had even started. Clearly not a man interested in anything but cherry cases. The most interesting thing was the distinct odor of cannabis burning in the hallway after stepping off the elevator. The interesting thing was his secretary told me the week prior that they had the entire floor. His wife wasn't interested in saying more than 2 words to me, all she seemed able to do was clench her chihuahua. I was out of the building well before our appointment was going to start. He did have the sense to say that he got off on the wrong foot. For all of the supposed education in the office the person with the most people skills was the secretary. Too bad degrees & licensing can't teach you how to handle people.
