I've only hear great things about Jay

My sister and I hired Jay Michael to take care of my mothers estate, we only contacted him because my father stated that he was the best in the Columbus Ohio area. Once we left his office we thought that we were in good care, but then I notice that he didn’t listen well to all our concerns and take all of what was involved with our case into consideration. I particularly was not happy once leaving his office once everything was finalized. I feel like he was inconsiderate, didn’t advise well (as far as the particulars with our case), and he was not a good communicator. My advice to anyone considering a lawyer don’t allow them to intimidate you for asking questions about what’s going on with your case, because at the end of the day you hired them and and will be writing a check for them once every thing is finalized so ask as many questions as you want, when you want. I felt like he did not protect me in this case, but if it was his family member he would have! I would not recommend him!!

I had a complicated situation after my father passed away. Having never dealt with this, I am sure I had some incredibly stupid questions and reached out to friends to give me some advice on an estate lawyer. Got into contact with Jay and Traci and they took care of everything for me, including dealing with my questions and calmly explaining things in a way I could understand. From what I gather it was a complicated situation that went back 20+ years and with his help everything got done and cleared up. I never felt like I was talked down too. I never felt like I was ignored. I never felt like my needs weren't satisfied. Did it take a while? Yes. Was it their fault? No. I would wholeheartedly recommend someone to this law office.
